I am a Christian Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience walking alongside youth, adults, and families through the many chapters of life. My passion is to see every person connected to my work step into the fullest version of who God created them to be. I firmly believe in the power of His Word to remind us of our purpose, His plans, and the truth of how deeply we are loved.

I have been practicing since 2019. I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2019. I am currently completing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision at the University of South Caroline. I specialize in working with individuals with anxiety and depression, grief, and those in the LGBTQIA community.

I graduated from Simmons School of Social Work with my MSW with a concentration on trauma treatment. I completed my internship at a community mental health center where I worked as a child trauma clinician. I then spent two years working in a child advocacy center where I was a child therapist and forensic interviewer. I am trained and certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and problematic sexual behavior cognitive behavioral therapy for children ages 7-12 (PSB-CBT).

I'm a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience working with adults. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Liberty University. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed or put a lot of pressure on themselves to hold everything together. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, and I see therapy as a partnership focused on creating meaningful, practical change.

Refined Beginnings Counseling LLC supports an environment that is least restrictive, provides for confidentiality, and convenience by offering tele-mental health services in Florida and both tele-mental health and office visits to clients in Georgia.

I am a LCWS-R (NY)/LISW-CP(SC) with over 20 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including: school social work, outpatient specialty clinics, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric facilities, large non-profits, and private practice.

I was born and raised in Brazil. When I was 16 years old I moved to Boston Massachusetts, where I discovered my passion for Mental Health. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree focusing on Mental Health Counseling from Salem State University.

I have been working as a Counselor for the past 3 years, I have experience working with Individuals struggling with severe mental health issues and individuals looking to better understand themselves.

As a child, adolescent and adult counselor, I am passionate about helping others through life's challenges. My goal is to provide a safe space to support growth, transparency, and change. I work with individuals, families and couples to facilitate goals, provide coping skills, and improve overall understanding of how to utilize these in everyday life, school, and home. Before becoming an LPC I was a certified Pastoral Counselor specializing in marriage. Certification was from Liberty University in 2008.
