Hello! I'm Bree Martin, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #163961) with over eight years of behavioral health experience, including four years as a substance use counselor before becoming an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and now a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Throughout my career, I've worked with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, and emotional overwhelm. My background includes substance use treatment, community mental health, and crisis intervention, where I gained extensive experience helping individuals navigate recovery, co-occurring mental health concerns, and some of life's most difficult moments.
I believe therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, working toward recovery, processing past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
Seeking support takes courage, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I'm here to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where healing and growth can happen.
Hi! I'm Olivia. I've been in therapy practice for six years, and am grateful for the opportunity to get to know you! As a queer and neurodivergent person, my career as a therapist has always moved in tandem with my commitment to social and economic justice. My work has taken me to settings with folks experiencing homelessness in South Los Angeles; with justice-involved adults in treatment court diversion programs in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood; in young adult shelters for art therapy groups; with low-income immigrant parents of young children; and with teens and young adults with significant trauma histories.
Through all my roles I always commit to centering community and individual strengths that help arm my clients with the tools necessary to repel various types of systemic violence and oppression. I believe that therapy is inherently political because being human is political.
Welcome!
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences, gain insight, and move toward the life you want to live.
I was always drawn to people who went unseen or unheard. Others told me I had a calm voice and that they could tell me anything. That led to a lifelong study of how people free themselves from their own patterns, later deepened by psychoanalysis and professional work in eating disorders, addiction treatment, and managed care settings like Kaiser.
Do you ever feel a heaviness in the background of your life, even if you’re not exactly sure where it’s coming from? Maybe certain patterns or challenges keep repeating, no matter how much effort you put into moving forward, and you’re beginning to wonder what’s underneath it all. In our work together, we’ll explore those experiences with curiosity and care. I’ll be there to support you in deepening your self-awareness, uncovering what’s holding you back, and making meaningful changes that align with who you are and what you want.
Hello! I'm Kris and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California and the founder of Village Wellness Center, a thriving group psychotherapy practice based in San Juan Capistrano. I have over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, and I specialize in maternal mental health, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the unique needs of women and mothers.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Sacramento State University and returned to school 15 years later to earn my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
The beginning of my career in mental health started in residential care helping at-risk youth, and over the course of 20 years, my work and experience evolved into leading and developing clinical programs for outpatient and court-mandated facilities while also building my specialty in perinatal mood disorders and maternal mental health in my private practice. Additionally over the past two decades, I was raising my family and actively contributing to the Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano communities.
Through my own struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety, I became a passionate advocate for maternal wellness and thriving families. This became the catalyst to opening Village Wellness Center, where the ability to serve entire families and promote holistic mental wellness with a team of therapists can be achieved.
