I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Pennsylvania and Delaware, and I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have a particular passion for supporting clients who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, body image concerns, disordered eating, and eating disorder recovery.
My clinical background includes working closely with children, teens, and families in both mental health and medical settings, which has shaped my understanding of how emotional wellbeing is influenced by stress, family relationships, identity development, and the pressures many young people carry every day. I also understand that struggles with food, body image, anxiety, and self-worth often show up quietly at first—and deserve compassionate, thoughtful support.
I strive to create a therapy space that feels warm, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in self-criticism, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to help clients feel understood while building the insight, coping skills, and confidence needed to make meaningful change.
I’m also a doctoral candidate in Social Work, which reflects my commitment to providing evidence-informed care that is both thoughtful and deeply personalized. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, body image challenges, relationship stress, life transitions, or simply feeling unlike yourself lately, therapy can be a place to feel grounded, supported, and empowered.
I am trained as a Professional Counselor. During my academic training, in addition to my degree, I am EMDR trained. After my academic training, I started working at MeadowWood Behavioral hospital, an acute psychiatric unit. I worked with adolescents, substance abuse, and adult clients. I have worked with the Kent county health department implementing substance abuse prevention programs in middle and high schools. I believe in the old proverb "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Since 2016 I have been working with the Community Behavioral health providing services in an outpatient setting.
I am passionate about helping people heal, grow, and feel more at home in their own lives. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative.
I have a Master’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology, and have spent over 20 years supporting individuals through mental health crises, trauma, and life transitions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) and I genuinely love what I do.
My career has been dedicated to working with some of the most overlooked populations including justice-involved individuals, those navigating reentry, and people in the midst of life’s most difficult moments. My background spans clinical counseling, crisis intervention, and correctional settings, giving me a uniquely grounded perspective on what healing actually requires.
This is a space where all parts of your story are welcome, and where we work together toward the version of yourself you want to become.
My name is Meghan Sutherland, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with a range of individuals navigating anxiety, stress, challenges with family dynamics, life transitions, and interpersonal/intimate relationships.
Because I have been licensed as a Psychologist since 1989, I bring decades of experience to our sessions. My education and background, together with personal warmth and respect for your individual needs and challenges, provide you with a strong and reliable resource with whom to face your current challenges.
It would be great to get to work with you to help you make your life more like you want it to be. I think it is important to listen to you, respect you, and encourage as you create the life you want. And I love to use some humor in therapy to lighten the hard work of it!
Hi there, my name’s Ephraim and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses.
Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Delaware starts with getting clear on the type of support you need. Whether you're looking for help with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, or life transitions, it helps to look for a licensed provider — such as an LPCMH, LCSW, or psychologist — who specializes in that area. Reading a provider's bio before booking can give you a sense of their approach and help you decide if they're a good match.
Delaware is a small state, but access to mental health care varies depending on where you live. Providers in Wilmington, Newark, and New Castle County are more concentrated, while residents in Kent and Sussex counties may have fewer in-person options. Virtual therapy can expand your choices significantly, connecting you with licensed Delaware providers regardless of your location in the state.
Therapy in Delaware can be expensive without insurance. Using your in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce your out-of-pocket costs, and many people pay as low as $0 per session depending on their plan. On Headway, you can enter your insurance information to see estimated costs before you book, so there are no surprises when it comes to what you owe.
