"We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future." - Steve Maraboli
You have far greater potential than what you've realized. I guide people in moving beyond self-perceived limits brought on by mental illness and life circumstances. I provide treatment on a brief or long term basis using accurate assessments, evidenced based treatment, integrity, ethics, competence, and advocacy.
My areas of practice include depression, anxiety, suicidal impulses, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, and concerns related to sex. As well as delivering mental health services for people of color and the LGBT community. You deserve to be treated with sensitivity, respect and confidentiality.

I believe that therapy should feel supportive, practical and real. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or major life transitions and just want to feel like themselves again. This is a space where you can talk openly without judgment while also gaining tools that actually help in everyday life. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and clear about your next steps.
Life can feel incredibly heavy when anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, or major life changes begin affecting your ability to move forward. You may feel overwhelmed by emotions, exhausted from carrying burdens on your own, or unsure where to turn next. Sometimes the hardest part is feeling like no one truly understands what you've been through. I work with adults and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, panic disorders, grief and loss, PTSD, trauma, stress, bipolar disorder, and anger management concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, discouraged, or disconnected from the peace and fulfillment they want for themselves. My goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, make sense of your experiences, and begin moving toward healing with greater confidence and hope.
My mother taught me and my brothers from a very young age not to ever hate anyone. Her words have been invaluable to me. My father instilled in us boys a mantra that too has served me well. He said to us innumerable times "Listen." Neither of my parents were strict disciplinarians, and they never used corporal punishment. But, from boyhood, through adolescence and into young adulthood, my brothers and I could count on a well-deserved lecture and extra chores if either of my parents ever caught us breaking one of these rules. My parents' philosophy helped steer me into my life's work, and I employ their beliefs daily in my career as a therapist. I believe people seek counseling so they can be accepted, validated and heard. I committed to myself long ago to never hate and to always listen to my patients/clients/consumers, regardless of their behaviors.Validation, empowerment and dignity are what I strive to create, cultivate and reap in every therapeutic alliance into which I enter.

I was born and raised in one of Nigeria’s vibrant and bustling cities, where I learned the values of community, resilience, and compassion from an early age. Inspired by a deep desire to make a difference in people’s lives, I pursued my education in health care. This journey has been a blessing and a privilege, allowing me to work in health care and provide care for the people I love and serve.
My family and I have built a home filled with love and laughter. They bring joy and inspiration to my life every day. I'm excited to support my clients in bringing that same love and joy and laughter back into their own lives.
