I believe that therapists themselves are therapy; that we do not just provide it. This is why I put intention into building a trusting foundation with clients through an understanding and nonjudgemental, empathetic relationship. I meet clients' needs by listening to the emotions behind their words and making connections to help them see things in new ways. I am passionate in helping clients to see their own strengths and potential and pushing for them to feel deserving of healing and reaching their goals.
I have experience working within my community with high needs families, children and parents. I have an eclectic experience in practice. The modalities I primarily use are evidence-based models of CBT for adults and TF-CBT for children, and expressive arts therapy, experiential, and utilize family systems theory to inform and deepen my practice.
If you feel a connection here, trust your own intuition and feel free to book a consultation to see if this is a good fit for you.
I'm a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience working with adults. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Liberty University. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed or put a lot of pressure on themselves to hold everything together. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, and I see therapy as a partnership focused on creating meaningful, practical change.
I received my Master’s and LSW in Social Work in 2012 and my Clinician Licensure in 2015. I also have a bachelors in education. I practiced in an adult outpatient hospital setting for 10 years. During my tenure there, I used the following modalities when treating clients: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT, Motivational interviewing, Narrative therapy, Strengths based therapy, Problem solving therapy, mindfulness, crisis and suicide prevention, Grief and Loss, and provided countless hours in coaching individuals on disease prevention, chronic conditions and life solutions. I believe education empowers people to make informed choices and include this is most sessions to enhance therapy. I am also trained in all therapies listed in my bio and use these regularly. I use modalities separately and together according to what is needed and how you are progressing, but my base construct is CBT. Emotion Freedom Technique is a new way to approach trauma which I have been using over several months for people with trauma and have seen fantastic results.

I’ve spent the last twenty years working with adolescents, young adults, and their families, and in recent years I’ve expanded my practice to include adults of all ages. My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to build genuine rapport and trust, creating a space where clients feel understood, supported, and safe to be themselves.
I hold a master’s degree in counseling and have additional training and experience in grief, anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, academic counseling, post-secondary planning, and career counseling. I’m passionate about supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe everyone deserves to have someone by their side through both the highs and the lows.
I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting you exactly where you are and creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported—especially during vulnerable moments. I show up as my authentic self in sessions so that you can feel comfortable doing the same. My goal is that each time we meet, you leave feeling at least a little lighter—whether that comes from feeling heard, gaining insight, or simply having a space to release what you’ve been carrying.
With over 15 years of experience, I bring both professional knowledge and genuine compassion into my work. I’m known for being kind, approachable, and deeply committed to the therapeutic process.
I’m also a certified yoga instructor and enjoy incorporating mindfulness and grounding techniques into sessions when it feels helpful. I believe in the connection between mind and body and strive to support clients in feeling more balanced, present, and connected to themselves.

Feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer seem to work? Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, a major life transition, chronic health concerns, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you don't have to go through it alone.
For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, and adults through some of life's most difficult seasons. My mission is simple: to restore hope, foster healing, and support meaningful personal growth. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work toward the life you want to live.
Many of the individuals I work with come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, overwhelmed, and trapped in patterns of survival rather than truly living. They may find themselves constantly overthinking, struggling to relax, carrying the weight of past experiences, feeling disconnected from their emotions, or wondering why they no longer feel like themselves. Others may be experiencing relationship challenges, difficulty trusting others, or feeling stuck despite their best efforts to move forward.
Using a person-centered, trauma-informed approach, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore your experiences, gain deeper self-understanding, and begin healing at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we will identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward creating meaningful and lasting change.
I believe that healing happens within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and genuine connection, allowing you to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your journey. Whether you are processing trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, struggling in your relationships, or facing a major life transition, our work together will focus on helping you reconnect with your strengths, build self-confidence, improve emotional well-being, and create a more fulfilling and balanced life.
