Hi, I’m Jada. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy for adults across Illinois and Maine.
Many of the people I work with appear high functioning on the outside, while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. You might be navigating a life transition, relationship stress, identity questions, or a sense that something feels off even if it is hard to fully put into words.
I offer a space where you do not need to have everything figured out before you show up. We can slow things down together, make sense of what you are carrying, and begin to move toward something that feels more aligned.
I am especially drawn to working with clients around anxiety, identity, relationships, self trust, and life transitions, especially seasons that feel meaningful, uncertain, or hard to name. Much of my work lives in that space.
Outside of therapy, I spend time with my partner and our dog, Autumn, who brings joy, playfulness, and energy into my day and is a constant reminder not to take life too seriously.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with over a decade of counseling experience in a variety of environments. I am an LGBTQ* and neurodiverse celebratory therapist! I have always been drawn to hearing people's stories and want to know all about you-what are your passions? What are your stressors? How can we get you where you want to be? I firmly believe that everyone possesses both resiliency and a unique spark that makes them who they are. I love to help people find their strength and spark.
My full name is Kathleen, but my friends, colleagues, and clients call me Kat. Prior to completing my Masters of Science in Nursing through Walden University and achieving my Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021, I worked at the bedside for 20 years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of care settings that included long term care, home care, ambulatory inpatient care for medically supervised management of a variety of withdrawal syndromes related to substance use disorders, and most recently as a critical care nurse in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), both before and during the COVID pandemic. Throughout my bedside career, the inherent connection between mental and physical health has always been apparent to me, and working with people that struggle with substance use disorder helped me in making my decision to become a psychiatric specialized provider. I am passionate about psychiatry and assisting people in optimizing their mental health.
I provide supportive therapy to adults and adolescents who are struggling with complex trauma, depression, anxiety, codependency, OCD and relationship issues. I work to help you evaluate what thought patterns, core beliefs, and behaviors are no longer serving you and to develop tools to self-soothe, affirm yourself, set boundaries, enhance authenticity and communicate effectively.
Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting teens and adults. I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can talk openly and feel understood. I help with anxiety, depression, life stress, trauma, and substance use, focusing on practical tools that fit your everyday life. My approach is down-to-earth, supportive, and centered on your strengths. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to connect with you.
Born and raised in a healthcare family, I grew up at the dinner table hearing about all things, medicine and healthcare. I went into the field on my own for the first time at 18 years old and have never left. My first degree is a Bachelor of Science In Applied Psychology. I then went and completed a Bachelor of Nursing followed by my Master’s in Nursing and my Post Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescence as well as adults. I am an engaged active listener, and I excel at making sure patients feel comfortable and heard.
My approach is one that is centered on growth and not perfection. My specialties are helping clients with issues related to trauma, anxiety, bereavement/ grief, and major life changes. My clients are of various ages and backgrounds. I have formal training in EMDR, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. I am also a Certified School Social Worker in New York City where I utilize Restorative Justice techniques with a clinical focus with adolescents.
I have provided therapy in a variety of settings and agencies. I understand that giving space to what you want to share is important for you to feel comfortable and get the help you are looking foe
I am very client centered and will meet you where you are at. I have 13.5 years of experience as a clinical therapist. I have worked in school settings, VA, and Federal Qualified Health Centers over the 13.5 years. I have also been a guidance counselor for over 6 years.
