If you've ever felt uneasy, unheard, or just plain frustrated trying to manage your mental health on your own — I want you to know that's exactly where so many of my clients start. And it's exactly why I do this work.
I'm Lisa, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients throughout Maryland through telehealth and in-person visits. My practice centers on helping people navigate anxiety and depression, two of the most common — and most treatable — challenges I see. Whether you're struggling to get out of bed in the morning or caught in a loop of worry you can't seem to escape, I meet you where you are, without judgment.
As a licensed mental health therapist, I believe prioritising mental health is important for happiness and balance. Taking the first step and seeking help can be the biggest hurdle. I look forward to walking with you on your mental health journey!
Living with a medical condition or physical disability often means carrying a weight that others don’t see or understand. The exhaustion of balancing health needs with daily life, the frustration of feeling misunderstood, and the toll of uncertainty can be immense. I have a deep personal understanding of these challenges. In our work, we’ll create a space to acknowledge the full complexity of your experience. We’ll also focus on reconnecting with your sense of self, adapting to life’s shifts, and cultivating a life that feels meaningful and grounded, even in the midst of difficulty. You don't have to let the challenges define you.
