Greetings!
I'm Roxana Scott. I have 12 years of experience supporting adults and families through the challenges of Complex Trauma. With an MS in Mental Health Counseling and a background in Community Service, I offer a compassionate, holistic approach to therapy. My goal is to help you process the past so you can show up fully in the present."
Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults ages 12 and older. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients process experiences, reduce distress, and move toward meaningful change. I am also inquisitive and a conversationalist.
Hi, I'm Heather Johnson, a faith centered Christian therapist passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where healing, growth, and restoration can take place. I have over 5 years of experience and my approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, grace and meeting each person exactly where they are in their journey. I work with individuals and families to navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting emotional wellness. Guided by the belief that healing and restoration are possible through faith, hope and connection, I strive to reflect God's love by offering a space of understanding, encouragement, and support. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing, clarity, and peace.
I have been doing this work for over 20 years now, and I look forward to working with you!
I'm a licensed therapist in Michigan who specializes in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, codependency, relationship challenges, domestic violence, and life transitions. I've always worked with folks who might feel like quality therapy is out of reach, and that's still who I see. That's where my heart is, helping people who thought they couldn't get help heal, process, and grow into the best version of themselves and live their best life.
You may be functioning well on the outside while quietly feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unable to slow down.
You may be the person others depend on while quietly feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. At Milton’s Place Counseling, therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, process what you are carrying, and identify practical next steps. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and major life transitions. You do not have to wait until you are in crisis to seek support.
If anxiety, depression, grief, or ongoing stress are making daily life feel harder, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with adolescents, adults, and families who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many parents seek support when they notice changes in their teen’s mood, behavior, school functioning, or communication, while adults often come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, or weighed down by life transitions and relationship stress.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years experience in a number of social worker roles. Let us see if we can work together to share and plan as partners in your therapeutic journey.
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. Choosing to seek support is an act of courage, and your future self will thank you for showing yourself kindness today. My name is Renee. I graduated from University of Southern California School of Social Work in 2014. I specialize in working with individuals carrying the weight of significant trauma, addictions, unresolved grief, and painful life experiences that can feel isolating or overwhelming. I support those who struggle with trust after unhealthy relationships, major life transitions, or who have turned to alcohol or other substances to cope with emotional pain.
I also work with individuals healing from addiction, substance use, and mental health challenges, and I have experience supporting military families as they navigate the unique barriers of having a loved one in the military, as well as serving Veterans. My goal is to offer a supportive space for healing, connection, and meaningful change.
I am a licensed therapist in Michigan and a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor with ten years of experience — and the road that shaped me as a clinician runs through two very specific places. For three years, I worked at the VA, where I developed a deep, hands-on understanding of trauma in its most complex and layered forms. For five years after that, I worked at Hope Network, an outpatient program serving individuals with limited access to resources, where I learned something that has stayed with me ever since: that genuine clinical expertise, offered with real intention, can change the trajectory of someone's life — even when the odds are stacked against them. I specialize in substance use and addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and the lasting impact of unhealthy relationships. My work is grounded in CBT and driven by a belief that every person — regardless of their circumstances — has the capacity to become more confident, more grounded, and more fully themselves.
My approach to therapy is to help you uncover what is blocking you from living your life to the fullest. I do not believe I hold all the answers; rather, I will assist you in discovering the answers to the problems you are facing through our counseling services. We will work together to find the best solutions to what is troubling you. I sincerely believe in listening to you fully and not judging you for how you feel or think.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in working with teens and adults who are navigating challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I am passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop a stronger sense of identity.
As a lifelong Missouri resident and educator, I am very familiar with the specifics that come with living in this area.
