Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults ages 12 and older. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients process experiences, reduce distress, and move toward meaningful change. I am also inquisitive and a conversationalist.
Do you often find yourself feeling empty – as if you float through your days going through the motions, rather than living an abundant and thriving life? Life can be difficult, and no matter how strong one may be mentally, there is only so much stress one can shoulder alone before it becomes too much. I believe in working together collaboratively in order to unlock one’s innate ability to self-heal. Through support and guided introspection, the answers to our troubles become self-evident.
Hello! My name is Andrea. First let me say congratulations in taking a first step and looking into therapy. Mental healthcare IS healthcare, and taking care of yourself is so important. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Master's degree in Counselor Education with over 5 years of experience. I enjoy working with individuals in every stage of life, and have the most experience working with teens, young adults and older adults. I take great honor in helping clients find empowerment, healing, and clarity.
I graduated in 2013 from Oakland University with a Master's in Counseling. My undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in English.
I have worked in substance abuse rehab facilities and prison, providing substance abuse counseling in group and individual sessions. I have also worked for community health agencies for different counties in Michigan, doing individual counseling, assisting clients with applying for benefits and providing various resources.
I work with individuals, adults aged 18 plus via telehealth. I work with all genders, sexualities, ethnicities, relationship structures, and religious/non-religious beliefs.
My top treatment areas are anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, LGBTQ+ issues.
Hello and welcome.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across a range of settings—including colleges, group practices, healthcare systems, and now in my private practice. My clinical foundation includes seven years of graduate training (MS and PhD), and I began my career as a social worker in non-profit LGBT health and hospital inpatient care.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and work with people navigating depression, anxiety, and overwhelming stress.
I typically work with clients long-term, building a therapeutic relationship grounded in warmth, honesty, and trust. I’m easy to talk to, and I invite collaboration and transparency in every session—believing that healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered.
I work with children and teens (ages 7+), young adults, adults, couples, families, and relationship partners. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or navigating challenges in your relationships, I’m here to help you move toward a more connected and fulfilling life.
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. Choosing to seek support is an act of courage, and your future self will thank you for showing yourself kindness today. My name is Renee. I graduated from University of Southern California School of Social Work in 2014. I specialize in working with individuals carrying the weight of significant trauma, addictions, unresolved grief, and painful life experiences that can feel isolating or overwhelming. I support those who struggle with trust after unhealthy relationships, major life transitions, or who have turned to alcohol or other substances to cope with emotional pain.
I also work with individuals healing from addiction, substance use, and mental health challenges, and I have experience supporting military families as they navigate the unique barriers of having a loved one in the military, as well as serving Veterans. My goal is to offer a supportive space for healing, connection, and meaningful change.
If you find it difficult to make sense of things and experience varying emotions as a result, come talk to me. Together, we will work on strategies, develop coping skills, and address the root causes of your difficulties and stresses.
I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Oakland University and my Master’s in Social Work from Madonna University. I have been a practicing social worker for four years, and during this time have received several certifications including: school social work, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools. Based on my experience, I specialize in working with adolescents and children; however, I am confident in my education and ability to help clients of all ages.
