Hi! I'm Lina.
I know it can be hard to feel truly seen and understood, especially when life feels overwhelming. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel validated. My approach blends clinical counseling with transpersonal psychology, helping you shed layers at your own pace as we honor the connection between mind, body, and soul. Together, we’ll work toward the clarity and balance you need to live your most authentic life.

I support teens, adults, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or each other. My clients are thoughtful, resilient people seeking a gentle, grounded space where they can feel seen, supported, and safe enough to reconnect with who they truly are—and with the relationships that matter most. People come to me when life feels heavy, when past experiences linger, anxiety builds, or connection feels harder to access, and they’re ready for compassionate support that helps them move forward with more clarity and ease.
As a person of color, I understand the impact of culture and family on life experiences and societal constructs; I want to ensure that you feel safe without any judgment. We will work together, with you coming up with your goals and what you would like to work on as well as identifying the barriers that may prevent you from moving forward. Each session is gently tailored to the client’s needs and level of readiness to address them. As a therapist, I will support you to shift out of what is not necessary to get to what is most valuable to you. I practice through a solution-focused approach, client-centered therapy, and narrative therapy. I want you to be free of emotional pain, able to deal with life on your terms, and able to find meaningful purpose in work, family, friendships, spirituality, and all other life areas by taking it one day at a time!
I'm Sandra Sarro, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience caring for individuals and families across a variety of mental health settings. Throughout my career in emergency psychiatry, inpatient care, medical units, and private practice, I've learned that every person's story is unique. My goal is to provide care that is compassionate, sincere, and nonjudgmental, so you always feel heard and supported. I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, insomnia, behavioral and school-related concerns, anger management, and life transitions.
My path to being a therapist involved listening to feedback I've received most of my life. For many years I experienced others coming to me in crisis, whether I knew them well or not. I often wondered why others felt comfortable sharing with me and why they were confident in coming to me for assistance. What makes me suited to be a therapist is a natural talent and motivation to assist others in transformation. Providing therapy is my second career; previously, I worked as a hospital administrator for many years. I went into the profession of health administration for compensation and prestige. Security was my motivation at the time. After several years of not feeling fulfilled, I decided to pursue what was missing and lead with my heart
