Hi, I’m Nikki — owner of Dragonfly Haven Wellness LCSW PLLC. I’m looking forward to starting our work together.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, earned in 2003. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges in both outpatient and school-based mental health settings.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm and collaborative, while also helping to point out connections to support your growth. I draw from a blend of psychodynamic therapy, relational approaches, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and Encompass co-occurring treatment to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I’ve recently completed a certified integrative mental health provider course and somatic technique training to focus more on body-based approaches alongside traditional talk therapy to support healing as a whole-person process.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are and knowing that I am here to work alongside you as you move towards change.
I am Dr. Felice Harris, a dedicated therapist, personal and professional coach, and early childhood education leader. I hold graduate degrees in Social Work and Early Childhood Education Leadership, along with a doctorate in education. As a licensed psychotherapist, I am trained in several evidence based practices and pedagogy to support meaningful, practical change.
Welcome,
My name is Dallana Contreras, LCSW. As a clinical social worker, my practice is grounded in a generalist framework that integrates the person-in-environment perspective with evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches. I have wide range of experience in school based supports, crisis teams, mental health outpatient and hospital settings.
I chose social work because I believe in the power of human connection and the ability of people to transform their lives when given support, respect, and opportunity.
I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving Suffolk County, NY. I provide outpatient mental health care across the lifespan, with experience supporting clients with a range of concerns, including autism spectrum-related needs
I’m a licensed mental health counselor who works with adults, couples, and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I’ve trained across schools, community mental health, and outpatient settings, and I bring a grounded, real-world perspective into the therapy space. My work is culturally responsive and shaped by a strong commitment to equity, identity, and whole-person care. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to grow.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 2 years of advance psychiatric practice and a total of 15 years of experience in healthcare. I specialize in evidence-based care for adults living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, and life transitions, combining thoughtful medication management with practical strategies that help clients build a deeper understanding of their mental health.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am an author and whole-body wellness advocate. My book, BePurBold: A Woman's Journey to Whole Body Wellness, reflects my belief that lasting mental health is rooted in lifestyle, resilience, and whole-person well-being. My goal is to offer a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and active partners in their own care.
I want clients to know that I’m warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative in my approach. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all style of therapy, so I try to meet each person where they are and adjust based on what they need in the moment.
I use both talk therapy and art therapy, and you don’t need any experience with art for it to be helpful. Sometimes words are enough, and other times it can be easier to express things through creative work, either way is okay.
My style is supportive but also practical. I like helping clients understand what they’re feeling, build coping skills they can actually use day-to-day, and gently work through patterns that feel stuck or overwhelming.
Most importantly, I aim to create a space where you don’t feel judged, rushed, or pressured, just supported at your own pace.
I am trained as an educator teaching dialogue communication skills, emotional skills and social awareness for navigating a complex and diverse world. Becoming a therapist is my second career path, and this background has allowed me to engage with more of the depth of factors contributing to distress in people’s lives. I bring a wide-ranging approach to understanding the depth of harm and challenges in your life so that we can move towards thorough therapeutic solutions.
First- I love being a therapist. Second, I feel that it’s a privilege to be chosen to walk alongside someone in their journey of life and support them and help them learn tools to navigate life‘s challenges in an effective way. I love helping people live their best life!
I've been in practice for 27 years. I have a Masters degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. I also have advanced certification In Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching. Common treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I work hard to cultivate a peaceful, safe, caring atmosphere with my clients. My clients tell me that they feel supported and have had breakthroughs that they did not experience with previous therapists. I frequently provide trainings in the community in the areas of mental health, women’s issues and parenting and have been selected for news interviews on two occasions as a local mental health expert in my field.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked with adolescents, adults and couples facing I a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ related issues, OCD, ADHD, career challenges and parenting stresses. I have also helped people who have experience trauma or emotional abuse and have provided a safe space to work through sensitive issues.
I became a social worker because I believe people are more capable of change than they are often given credit for—they need the right support to get there.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals, families, and couples of all ages. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and mood disorders, ADHD, autism, and emotional dysregulation — but I'm always focused on the whole person, not just the diagnosis. I also work closely with parents and caregivers, because some of the most powerful change happens when the people around you understand you better, too.
