My name is Heather Phelps, owner of HLP Wellness Solutions, Licensed Professional Counselor, and CAADC ( Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor). I am a seasoned clinician having worked in all aspects of intensity in behavioral health; detox, residential, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and general outpatient. I have experience working with substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, anxiety, codependency, depression, trauma, first responders, personality disorders, and mood disorders. I offer a client centered approach to care, valuing honesty, compassion, and accountability.

I have over 10 years of experience as a counselor and 6 years as a licensed social worker; I'm not new to counseling and the more difficult your situation is, the more excited I am to meet you! It's a privilege to walk with someone during one of life's hardest seasons.

My focus is on psychiatric medication management, including diagnosis and ongoing care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related concerns. I do not provide weekly or primary psychotherapy, and may not be the best fit if you are seeking therapy-only services. Because my practice is exclusively online, I am unable to prescribe these medications.
