He also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice at Frontier Nursing University. He is board-certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry; a Family Nurse Practitioner, a DOT Medical Examiner, and a SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.

Hi, I’m Taylor Avery, an LCSW in Texas, and I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Texas. I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, and depression, and I have extensive experience in both individual and intensive outpatient settings.

I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Board-Certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I approach every patient with respect, empathy, and a focus on safety.
