Hello, I am so glad you found my page today, that alone is a big step!
I am a seasoned Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which means I can hold space for both parties in a session. I can remain calm and objective during times of high conflict and times of deep pain.
I work from the science of attachment and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am also educated in couples trauma, neurodivergent couples, executive and entrepreneurial couples, and infidelity repair.
My goal is to create a safe space where the superman cape, the mask, the facade that you've had to show the world can come down. That cape is really heavy.
I want to extend a special invitation to those in the helping professions: this is a safe place to discuss those crazy stories, and know you'll never feel judged or looked down on. As a former social worker, I can tell you I've seen my own share of the best and worst humanity has to offer. My dark sense of humor is a load-bearing structure.
I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice–trained Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a career shaped by service, compassion, and a genuine love for helping people feel seen, supported, and capable of healing. Before becoming a PMHNP, I spent many years as a CNA and later earned my BSN from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2015 in San Antonio, TX. I worked bedside at University Hospital, transitioned to hospice in 2016, and later served in case management at UTHSCSA. In 2023, I began my DNP–PMHNP program, completing it while working full time at Clarity Child Guidance Center. On December 13th, 2025, I was officially granted the title of “Dr.”, became board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner on February 9th, 2026, and finally obtained my APRN with the Texas Board of Nursing on March 12th, 2026!
My doctoral project focused on reducing seclusion rates for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder using evidence‐based, trauma‐informed interventions—an area close to my heart as a parent of a special‐needs child. I’m passionate about geriatric psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry, and I bring a calm, grounded, and collaborative style to treatment.
I also briefly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that strengthened my commitment to resilience, service, and advocacy. Today, I continue to advocate for women affected by domestic violence, helping them reclaim safety, confidence, and possibility.
On a personal note, I’m a mom of two boys, happily married for 11 years, and the proud owner of four dogs. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me drinking coffee, shopping for plants, collecting perfumes, baking, cooking, or spending time with family and friends. These parts of my life help me stay balanced, grounded, and connected—values I bring into every therapeutic relationship.
My educational and professional background is in psychology and education, and I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Virginia, and I’m passionate about supporting adults on their journey toward healing and well-being. With a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and over seven years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, and other life stressors.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Texas, Maryland & New York. I work with diverse kinds of clients (Age 18 +) with different cultural backgrounds and mental health problems. I specialize in depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, Insomnia, bipolar disorder, eating disorder, personality disorder and much more. I am a compassionate provider with a passion for patients with mental illness.
Starting therapy can often make people feel nervous and unsure about what to expect. I understand how hard it is to trust a stranger with such personal thoughts and feelings. I have been working to help others create a safe and productive space to share and grow since 2013.
Hello and welcome. I’m Ashley, a licensed clinical social worker, and I specialize in working with young adults (18+) and adults throughout adulthood who have experienced complex trauma and relational wounds. Many of the people I work with struggle with intense emotions, fear of abandonment, painful or unstable relationship patterns, a harsh inner critic, shame, or a sense of feeling lost or unsure of who they are.
These experiences can show up as complex trauma symptoms such as emotional overwhelm, mood shifts, dissociation, difficulty trusting others, people-pleasing, or feeling “too much” or “not enough.”
I believe trauma lives not only in the mind, but also in the body and in our relationships.
Together, we work to understand your emotional reactions and protective behaviors, not to judge them, but to help you feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself and others.
If you recognize yourself in these experiences and are ready to work on trauma and relationship patterns, I would be honored to support you.
Hi there! I am glad we have crossed paths, and am here to help you navigate through life's challenges. Maybe you're dealing with relationship issues, a life transition, self-esteem issues, grief & loss, or simply trying to find yourself. If you're feeling confused and overwhelmed with emotion, deciding to meet with a therapist can be the first step toward relief.
I have nearly 20 years of experience helping people find answers to the difficulties they face. I believe you are the expert as it relates to your symptoms and your life experiences. My role is to collaborate with you, offer guidance and insight, and work together with you toward your goals. Ultimately, I feel it is most important that there is a strong rapport between you and me, and that you feel comfortable in an easygoing, non-judgmental atmosphere. I would love to have the opportunity to help you tap into your strengths, and discover the personal peace and fulfillment we all want out of life. Let's Do This!

Headway makes it easy to find support for your relationship — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding couples therapists in Pasadena starts with knowing what you and your partner want to work on. Couples therapy may focus on communication patterns, recurring conflict, trust after infidelity, major life transitions, or parenting disagreements. Since not all therapists have training in couples work, look for a licensed marriage and family therapist, or a therapist who lists couples-focused approaches like the Gottman Method or emotionally focused therapy in their bio.
In a smaller market like Pasadena, local couples therapy options may be more limited than in nearby Houston, so virtual appointments can help expand your search. It also helps to choose a therapist whose schedule works for both partners, whether you need daytime, evening, or virtual availability. Before booking, read each therapist’s profile for details on session structure, communication style, and whether they offer a brief initial consultation to help you assess fit together.
Couples therapy in Pasadena can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs, and Headway helps you check coverage before you book. You can compare therapists who are accepting new patients, review estimated out-of-pocket costs, and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
