Brittney Washington, LPC-S, LCDC-CI, CLC
Life can feel like a never-ending to-do list, and no matter how much you check off, it still feels like you’re barely keeping up. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out alone either.
I’m Brittney Washington, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-CI), and Certified Life Coach (CLC) with over six years of experience helping professionals, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and high-achievers navigate ADHD, anxiety, burnout, stress, life transitions, and imposter syndrome. My passion is helping people who are used to handling everything but now feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like they’ve lost control of their own lives.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, I take a practical, down-to-earth approach to help clients get clear on what’s keeping them stuck and develop a plan to move forward in a way that works for them.
Hi, I’m Macheda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions that can leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about what comes next. Many of my clients are used to being strong for others but privately feel stretched thin, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to keep carrying everything they’ve been holding. Therapy can be a space to pause, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and self-understanding.
Through my experience in healthcare and individual settings, I’ve supported people and families during some of life’s most challenging and vulnerable moments. As an immigrant, I also understand how culture, identity, family expectations, and lived experiences can shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate change. I recognize that emotional struggles do not happen in isolation, and I take care to understand the full context of your experiences rather than focusing only on symptoms.
My goal and focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this in a partnership together to facilitate positive change and realize your true potential for growth and happiness.
We will work together to identify problem area's you would like to address and establish treatment goals in a safe environment to help the you the client realize your own growth potential and make positive change in a supportive counseling setting.
It is my belief that as people become more aware and accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding a sense of peace and contentment in their lives. Some of my clients need only a few sessions to achieve these goals, others may require months or even years to put their puzzle pieces together. As a client, you are in complete control, and you may end your relationship with me at any point. I am actively licensed in the State of Texas as a LMFT; LPC; and LCDC.
What is your approach to therapy? For therapy to be most successful, it is important for you to take an active role. This means working on the things you and I talk about, both during and between sessions. Generally, the more you are willing to invest the greater the return. It is my intention to empower you in your growth process to the degree that you can face life’s challenges in the future without me. I do not believe in creating dependency or prolonging therapy if the therapeutic intervention does not seem to be helping.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?As a clinician, I have experience providing person-centered recovery plans; rehabilitation skills training; case management; and crisis intervention services, to individuals living with severe and persistent mental health concerns. I am qualified to offer a wide array of counseling services in the areas of Individual Family; Couples; and Chemical Dependency. Counseling services to address a wide range of mental health and relationship issues that impact a person’s emotional health and wellbeing.
