I have been a LPC for over 10 years and have worked with a very diverse group of clients. They range in age from 6 to 60. I specialize in adolescents and trauma. I have also worked with depression, anxiety, personal relationships, parenting problems, addictions, emotional abuse, and physical trauma.

I enjoy learning about ways we can change and understand our human existence. We are thinking, feeling and doing beings. Cognitive behavioral therapy provides a framework to identify ways to do it differently and better. Trauma treatment modalities like EMDR may support processing neurological and physiological reactions and being able to feel secure and safe while staying connected to others more fully. Our story is just that; we write it and edit it. We get to choose the chapters and path of our lives, through the unknowns, mysteries and celebrations.

I am a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. This means I am trained to treat both physical health and mental health. WIN-WIN! I started off as a combat medic in the Army and after my enlistment went back to school for nursing. I have been in the nursing field for nearly 20 years, a nurse practitioner for six years and working in addiction medicine and mental health, specifically, for over the last two years.
