I have been in private practice for 20 years with my specialty focusing on individuals resolving historic traumas and women balancing all of the complications of womanhood in a fast paced, demanding world. My style is informed from my diverse experience. I have worked in adolescent residential treatment, FBI consulting, an expert witness and a graduate school professorship; all the while working with my private practice clients. In the last several years, I have been sought out as a corporate consultant and speaker to discuss how our negative experiences and traumas shape our behaviors as high intensity professionals.

I provide pharmacotherapy (medication management) motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities. We can assess during the first meeting if your treatment requires additional therapeutic support. I will provide a referral to a licensed therapist to ensure you receive comprehensive care. I'm Anna Bellard, LCSW, a trauma therapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, PSTD, and the lasting impact of trauma. I specialize in EMDR therapy and somatic-based approaches that help clients heal not just mentally, but through the nervous system as a whole.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Vermont and completed my Master of Social Work at University of Denver in 2020. My clinical background includes inpatient psychiatric care, adult partial hospitalization (PHP), and dual-diagnosis treatment, where I worked with complex trauma, mood disorders, and substance use.

Overtime, my work led me to focus on individual therapy for adults seeking deeper healing, emotional regulation, and reconnection with themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct.

My journey towards therapy started in the forests on the Pacific Crest Trail and in the San Juan Mountains as a Wilderness Therapy Guide. I was entranced by people's stories that landed them on the trail, as well as by their takes on life. I decided to get my Master's in Counseling at Adam's State University so that I could professionally hear people's stories. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have experience working with families, couples and individuals ages 12+. I am passionate about helping people manage chronic stress that seems inevitable in the current world we live in.

Kayla, a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in community mental health, recognized the profound disparities in access to mental health care within BIPOC communities. Inspired by a vision of creating a space where healing is both inclusive and affordable, she founded Helen’s Project with the belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health support, regardless of their background or financial situation.​​Helen’s Project operates on the principle that culturally competent and empathetic mental health care is essential for holistic well-being. The organization collaborates with a diverse team of mental health professionals who not only possess clinical expertise but also understand the unique cultural nuances and challenges faced by the BIPOC community.

I’m a licensed therapist who works with individuals navigating life transitions, relationships, and the emotional complexity of modern, busy lives. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and specialize in supporting clients through pregnancy, postpartum, and family related transitions. I also have training in energy psychology, which I integrate into my work in a grounded and practical way. I focus on tools that support real life application and sustainable growth.
