Hello, I’m Cara, a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work. My approach is warm, down‐to‐earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine and human. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and use practical, evidence‐based tools like coping strategies, mindset shifts, and boundary work. I make space for humor and real connection, combining these skills with deeper exploration of patterns, self‐compassion, and emotional insight to support lasting, meaningful change.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel aligned with who you are. Many of my clients are insightful, sensitive, and capable, yet struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment wounds, ADHD, or relationship challenges. You may be used to caring for others, masking your needs, or pushing through instead of feeling supported. You’re looking for therapy that feels safe, real, and validating — not judgmental or distant — and you want to better understand yourself, your emotions, and your relationships.
I offer relational, trauma-informed therapy grounded in attachment-based and emotionally focused approaches. I work collaboratively to help clients understand emotional and relational patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and build self-trust and healthier connections. My practice is affirming of neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ identities.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical. I offer a supportive, honest, and affirming space where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationships, identity, or emotional overwhelm, you deserve therapy that feels human, safe, and respectful of who you are.
Hello, my name is Neha, and I’m glad you’re here. Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to offer a space that feels supportive, thoughtful, and grounded. I’m a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a current doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology. My work is informed by ongoing learning and experience across hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation programs, and private practice. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions using an integrative, evidence-based approach.
Welcome to my practice! I have years of experience assisting clients utilize their strengths and overcome past traumas so live a more satisfying and fulfilling life with out carrying the burdens of their past. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients and diagnoses over the years providing me a diverse array of experience. I bring humor to my practice but am not afraid to challenge my clients. I lead from a place of empathy and compassion with the ultimate goal of providing you the space to feel truly seen and heard for you are and not who you think you should be.
I worked as a Forensic Registered Nurse for more than 18. years. My experiences included working with individuals who struggle with Schizoaffective disorders, Bipolar 1 and 2 disorders, schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and other mental/behavioral issues. I obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing at Western Connecticut State University and specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am licensed as such and board-certified.
Many of my clients are young adults, POC, professionals and those coming to therapy for the first time. My clients look okay on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally by anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. They ruminate, struggle to say no, and live with a sense of pressure that never lets up. My approach is rooted in CBT, and I use techniques to retrain your brain, and defuse negative thought patterns. I guide individuals to identify unhelpful thinking, challenge internalized pressure, and set boundaries that align with their values. Clients can expect to feel more mentally clear, emotionally grounded, and in control of their choices—ultimately becoming the version of themselves they aspire to be.
