Welcome. Seeking support can feel difficult, especially when you're managing overwhelming emotions, relationship stress, painful experiences, or simply feeling disconnected from the life you want to live. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, PTSD, women's issues, and challenges related to self-esteem, life transitions, and relationships. I understand that healing looks different for everyone, and I believe therapy should provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. Whether you're struggling with day-to-day stress, navigating the impact of past experiences, or trying to make sense of difficult emotions, my goal is to help you gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and build a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. Together, we can create meaningful change while honoring your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
I’m Seth Watson, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping you find balance and resilience. I pride myself on offering an easy, stress-free demeanor that makes it simple to talk openly. When it comes to medication management however, I get right down to business. I focus on addressing the problem with strong, evidence-based results, and I will always utilize a collaborative approach to ensure that every decision about your care is one we make together.
Navigating a difficult relationship, struggling with a life transition, or just unsure how to proceed in making your life what you want it to be? I provide a supportive and totally non-judgmental environment for you to explore your options and figure out concrete ways to move forward.
My goal is to guide clients to improve their interpersonal relationships, overcome life stresses, and feel less depressed and anxious. With 30 years of experience, I view therapy as a partnership where client and therapist work together. If setting goals and having an accountability partner in reaching those goals resonates, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
Therapy is self-care. I want my client's therapeutic experience to be the best one possible as I know they are using the small amount of time they have to work on themselves. I am the therapist I would want for myself. I am collaborative, knowledgeable, I help simplify the complicated, put words to experiences, feelings, and thoughts, and guide clients in what to do with their findings. I am the therapist you do "the work" with.
My personal journey was not one I would choose. My first husband was diagnosed with cancer in September 2004 and died in February 2006. The experience of spousal caregiving and young widowhood, and 10 years as a federal Special Agent eventually led me to change careers to become a counselor.
I love helping individuals and couples build meaning, self-acceptance, and self-worth despite grief, trauma, shame, and problematic behavior and relationship patterns.
