I graduated with my Masters of Science degree with a major in Clinical Psychology from Barry University. My practical training began at Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami. I have also gained invaluable crisis care and intervention experience working with adults and adolescents at a Crisis Services Unit. My work at a private psychosocial rehabilitation organization allowed me to gain additional proficiency working with adolescents and adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

I completed a pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Miami (UM) Mailman Center for Child Development, where I specialized in pediatric psychology, primarily working in school-based primary care clinics with middle and high-school students. In addition to years of academic and clinical training, I am also the mother of a toddler. Being a parent myself has deepened my understanding and empathy for the families with whom I work.

My approach to mental health care is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe in treating the whole person — not just symptoms. Every patient receives individualized care tailored to their personal goals, medical history, and life circumstances.
