If you’re feeling overwhelmed by pregnancy, postpartum changes, anxiety, or a major life
transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with adults who are facing maternal mental
health concerns, young adult stress, relationship challenges, and seasons of change, and I
strive to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and safe to show up honestly.
Following my Ph.D., I received four years of advanced postdoctoral training at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, MA. Working four times a week with clients suffering from severe personality, dissociative, and psychotic disorders gave me a profound respect for the human capacity to both suffer and heal as well as experience extreme vulnerability and resilience. Working with the most severely troubled allows me to work comfortably with a wide range of clients across the diagnostic spectrum.
We all need connection, community, and the ability to be our authentic selves in order to thrive. Many of us are not provided these attachment needs in childhood, and we grow into adulthood burdened by this wounding, unsure of how to relate safely and from a place of wholeness. If you struggle to align your inner and outer worlds, find yourself repeating difficult relational patterns, or feel as if your authentic self must remain hidden, I would love to work with you. I am particularly interested in supporting the health of queer families and cooperatives.
I bring a calm, steady, and thoughtful presence to the work. Clients often describe me as warm, gently humorous, and intellectually grounded. My practice is shaped by the teachings and wisdom of the Catholic faith, especially its understanding of the human person as a unity of body and soul, created for meaning and made for eternity. I find that many people of faith or traditional backgrounds want a therapist who respects those commitments and won’t dismiss or pathologize them.
I work especially well with anxiety, scrupulosity, family strain, and questions that sit at the crossroads of faith and daily life. I’m not drawn to trends or spiritual fads — I prefer a more timeless, human approach to healing — but clients of any or no religious background are also welcome. Above all, I want you to have a therapeutic space where you feel understood, respected, and able to explore the deeper parts of your story without pressure.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years, and have experience working with adults, children and families. I earned my Master's degree in 2023 in Clinical Psychology from Bridgewater State University. I have experience with many mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, and personality disorders. I love connecting with women and mothers and helping them to find their joy and peace.
I was born and raised in Brazil. When I was 16 years old I moved to Boston Massachusetts, where I discovered my passion for Mental Health. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree focusing on Mental Health Counseling from Salem State University.
I have been working as a Counselor for the past 3 years, I have experience working with Individuals struggling with severe mental health issues and individuals looking to better understand themselves.
I specialize in advanced medication management for complex, treatment-resistant conditions. I utilize a neurobiological approach that focuses on frontal lobe/executive functioning, nervous system dysregulation, and neurotransmitter systems to diagnose and treat various concerns - ADHD/executive dysfunction, anxiety, OCD, trauma/C-PTSD, high-masking autism, personality structures, and cases where standard medication treatments have failed. While I specialize in clinical complexity, I bring that same deep, careful attention to treating anxiety, depression, and clients starting medication for the first time.
