My entire life I have been in the pursuit of a life well lived and thus have spent years teaching and practicing yoga and meditation, travelling, and participating in my own therapy. The driving force in my life is to support myself and others in the unfolding of their true nature so that they can enjoy their days here on earth.
I have worked as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for over 8 years in a variety of settings ranging from trauma, impact of addictions on mental and emotional wellbeing, to relationship issues and more. I tend to be laid back and easily approached with no judgement, no criticism and no assumptions.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Mississippi and the state of Michigan.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!) and my Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Before moving to Jackson, Miss. for graduate school, I worked with Cru (a campus ministry) for three years on the Ole Miss campus.
While living in Oxford, I also worked as the Administrative Assistant at Grace Bible Church of Oxford for two years.
Through receiving counseling in my own life, my desire grew to sit with and serve those experiencing darkness, hardship, or hurt in their own life. I want to utilize my life experience and education to walk alongside my clients as they uncover and develop their own internal resources.
Clients should know that I bring warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to their growth. I create a safe and supportive environment where their voices are valued, and their goals are prioritized. With encouragement and guidance, I help clients navigate challenges and celebrate meaningful progress along their journey.
With seven years of experience, I offer a compassionate but direct approach to therapy. I’m here to challenge, empower, and support you—especially when you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Together, we’ll focus on real progress in your life and relationships, with clarity, courage, and intention.
