Blair here! I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety and life transitions. My style is warm and collaborative — I want you to feel heard from day one. My goal is to meet clients exactly where they are with compassion, curiosity and active support.
Welcome! I am so happy you have taken the first step to healing. My name is Dzenana and I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, grief/loss, and trauma. My master's is from University of Missouri-Kansas City. I have worked as a school counselor for 11 years before opening my own private practice.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. On the outside, life may look “fine,” but internally you might feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or pulled in different directions. Part of you wants change, another part feels exhausted, protective, hurt, or unsure where to begin. Therapy can help make sense of those inner conflicts instead of fighting against them.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes healing happens through real human connection. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly because I show up authentically, without judgment. I create a space where you can be fully honest, feel understood, and finally exhale.
First of all, I am NOT your typical psychotherapist.
I'm pretty casual. I wear jeans and the occasional t-shirt to the office. Makeup went out the window when Covid hit. I have a dry sense of humor and sarcasm is my second language.
I like to sprinkle "f*ck" into my everyday vocab like little bits of colorful confetti. Feel free to add to the fun.

I provide counseling therapy to individuals with an Open Bible, offering therapeutic insight from a Christian perspective. I am a trained, licensed therapist who understands God's role in healing and integrates Biblical principles into therapeutic conversations to guide you toward better mental health. GOD is Good! My goal is to help you see this through Scripture, which provides guidance and navigation through the toughest times in life. Your emotional pain is more than a physical or mental struggle – it’s a spiritual response to suffering. I’ll walk beside you as we examine what is true, worthy, honest, and right.
Patients in Missouri often look for clear guidance, fast access, and thoughtful medication support. My focus is helping adults understand their mental health symptoms and finding the right treatment plan that works for their life.
I specialize in psychiatric medication management for anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. Many of my patients come in feeling overwhelmed or unsure about medications, and my goal is to make the process simple, collaborative, and comfortable.
I work with patients across Missouri through secure telehealth visits so you can receive care from the comfort of your home. My approach is practical and focused — we work together to identify what is happening, review treatment options, and build a plan that helps you feel better and function better in daily life.
Whether you’re starting treatment for the first time or looking to adjust your current medications, I aim to provide clear guidance and thoughtful care every step of the way.
Prioritizing your mental health is the foundation for a stable, fulfilling life. I know that the first step—reaching out for help—is often the hardest, so I want to acknowledge your courage in being here. I bring 30 years of experience as a board-certified psychiatrist to our work together.

Postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety are among the most common perinatal mental health concerns, but providers in the Kansas City metro also work with parents navigating birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, and changes in relationships after a new baby. Look for a licensed provider — such as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or psychiatrist — who has specific training or certification in perinatal mental health (sometimes noted as PMH-C).
Kansas City spans both Missouri and Kansas, and many providers offer virtual sessions alongside in-person appointments in neighborhoods across the metro.
