If your internal world feels chaotic, fractured, or heavy, finding a place to land can feel impossible. Maybe you are carrying the weight of complex trauma, navigating a world not built for your neurodivergent brain, or feeling completely disconnected from your own body.
You might feel hesitant to trust a male therapist with your story—especially if your past includes relational trauma, spiritual abuse, or high-control environments. I completely understand. At Quiet Harbor Counseling, safety isn’t something I preach; it is something we build together through steady, respectful, and non-judgmental action.
As a lead therapist with clinical director responsibilities within intensive treatment settings, my days are spent managing complex clinical care. In my private practice, I bring that exact high-level expertise, administrative precision, and deep trauma training directly to you. I specialize in providing a dedicated, affirming refuge where you can feel entirely seen, heard, and empowered to live a self-reliant life.

My name is Oluwatoyin Omodaratan, PMHNP-BC, and I go by Toyin. I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 4 years of experience as a provider and more than 19 years rooted in psychiatric nursing.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My clinical experience spans a wide range of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, and other mental health concerns.
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and individualized, ensuring that each client feels heard, supported, and actively involved in their treatment plan. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where healing, growth, and stability can occur.
I am CBT based with Solution Focused and Gestalt main ones I use.
What truly sets me apart is my calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach. I believe in meeting every individual exactly where they are, creating a safe and affirming space for open, honest communication. Together, we’ll build a collaborative relationship where goals, preferences, and values guide every step of your care. I am committed to providing stigma-free care; including those navigating challenges related to neurodivergence, substance use, trauma, identity or difficult past experiences. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and respected without fear of shame or judgment.
As a therapist, I'm naturally solution-focused, but I also know that lasting change doesn't happen by rushing past the hard stuff. I like to find a balance between processing and problem-solving. Sometimes that means helping clients unpack what's been weighing on them, make sense of their experiences, or connect the dots between past and present. Other times, it means rolling up our sleeves and figuring out what practical steps they can take to start feeling better and moving forward.
I don't believe therapy should be a place where you come in week after week and just talk without seeing any growth. At the same time, I don't believe in jumping straight to solutions before someone has had the opportunity to feel heard and understood. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build skills, and make meaningful changes while honoring where they are in the process.
I tend to be warm, down-to-earth, and genuine in my approach. I want clients to feel comfortable bringing their whole selves into the room—the messy parts, the uncertain parts, and the parts they're still trying to figure out. I believe some of the best work happens when people feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to take risks.
Above all, I see therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and I'm here to help you make sense of what you're experiencing, recognize your strengths, and find a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable for you.
I am a former educator who specializes in anxiety/depression. I enjoy supporting clients working through stress, anxiety, depression, sleep concerns, and behavior regulation. I take a holistic, personalized approach and enjoy using technology and behavioral insights to support lasting growth.
If you're carrying something that still shows up when you least expect it, the memory that tightens your chest, the anxiety that won't switch off, or the feeling that a past experience is still steering your present, you don't have to keep pushing through it alone. I work with adults and young adults who are ready to feel less controlled by what happened to them and more like themselves again. Many of the people I see have done talk therapy before and are curious whether EMDR could finally help them move through what's kept them stuck
There are moments where each of us experience difficult and stressful points in our lives. Whether it's a painful divorce, the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, going through stress in a relationship, unresolved self-esteem issues, questions about gender or sexuality, dealing with a troubled child, family stress, or facing pain from childhood and/or adult trauma. Life can be hard at times; there is no doubt about that. I have come to view those challenging times that we all experience, albeit in different ways, as opportunities for us to make positive changes and adjustments - what I like to call "reset moments."
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help move my clients to lasting change. I have experience working in schools, hospitals, and in my own private practice. Through individual counseling, we move from places of stagnation and fear into the amazing future that each of us deserves and I believe we can have.
I am always amazed at the strength and courage of my clients. It's never easy to take that first step, to commit to the process of change, to put in the effort to do the hard work, and to hope for more. We must always remember that each of us has the power to be who we are intended to be and to create the lives we want. I look forward to working with you...
On the outside, you’re the one who keeps everything together. You show up, you get things done, and people likely see you as strong and dependable. But inside, it may feel like you’re overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or just tired of carrying so much on your own. Many of the women I work with are high functioning on the outside but quietly struggling with stress, self-worth, burnout, relationship challenges, or the lingering impact of past experiences. If you’ve been pushing through and wondering when it gets to feel easier, therapy can be a space where you finally don’t have to hold it all alone.
