Welcome, my name is Elizabeth Greene (Liz) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. Life can pull us in a hundred different directions, and sometimes it takes slowing down, getting real, and having honest conversations to find our way forward. My approach is straightforward and commpassionate - no judgment, no fluff. I meet you where you are, walk beside you through the challenges, and help you rediscover your strength, clarity, and purpose.
I specialize in helping individuals and couples heal from trauma, attachment wounds, and relational pain through an attachment-based, experiential approach rooted in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
My work is informed by attachment science and neuroscience, and grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe, emotionally attuned relationships. AEDP recognizes that when emotional pain is met with genuine connection, compassion, and support, the nervous system naturally moves toward healing, integration, and greater resilience.
Dr. Troy A. Waller, a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than two decades of experience, provides services across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. He focuses on trauma recovery and offers consultation to government agencies and hospital regarding stress, anxiety, and mental health concerns.

Heather Figi, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes the best psychiatric care begins with understanding the person behind the symptoms.
Her practice is guided by two simple beliefs:
My goal is to understand you—not just your symptoms. I provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, burnout, and other mental health conditions. I also have a special interest in helping high-achieving women navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and perimenopause.
During our visits we'll talk about what's been going on, what's worked (and what hasn't), and what you're hoping to get back to. Medication may be part of the plan, but we'll also look at things like sleep, lifestyle, hormones when appropriate, relationships, and other factors that affect mental health.
Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I spent more than 25 years teaching violin. Looking back, I realize I was learning skills I still use every day: listening carefully, meeting people where they are, and recognizing that everyone learns—and heals—in their own way.
I earned my Master's degree from Frontier Nursing University and am licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland. Whether this is your first time seeking psychiatric care or you're looking for a fresh perspective, I hope you'll leave our first visit feeling heard and with a plan that makes sense for your life.
