I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over five years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I have worked with individuals managing a wide range of conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, and cognitive impairments. I hold a Master's in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatry and am currently pursuing my Doctoral Degree in Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina. Beyond clinical practice, I also teach mental health nursing, which keeps me deeply engaged in the latest thinking around psychiatric care. I believe every person's life has equal value and bring that conviction into everything I do.
I’ve spent my career supporting people who have experienced trauma, mental health, and substance use issues. I have used a mix of traditional talk therapy, art and adventure therapies to assist in the healing process. I have been in practice since 2002 after completing my master's in social work at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to completing my master's I worked in the social work field, working as a case manager and substance use counselor, and volunteering at my local domestic abuse program answering the crisis hotline, facilitating community support groups, and assisting in the annual walk for women's safety. I work with children, adults, families, couples, and groups. My style is natural and organic, giving you space to heal in a way that feels right for you. My approach is person centered. My focus is to help you build trust and safety at your own pace and create a strong therapeutic relationship for you to heal.
Welcome, and thank you for considering me as a partner in your wellness journey! My therapeutic style is warm, gentle, and supportive, while also being direct and accountability focused. I believe meaningful change happens when compassion and honesty work together. In our time together, we will explore what’s getting in the way of your well-being and identify practical, sustainable ways to improve your daily functioning and overall quality of life.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I bring a grounded, steady presence to the therapeutic space. I support clients through life transitions, emotional challenges, and periods of feeling stuck, always meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. Therapy with me is collaborative, intentional, and centered on your goals, your values, and your lived experience. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, resilience, and growth at a pace that feels both supportive and empowering.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Wisconsin with a background in substance use and recovery work. I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and complex life circumstances, including housing instability and major transitions.
I believe therapy should be a place where you don’t have to carry everything on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, I offer a grounded, nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward stability, clarity, and lasting change.
