Anxiety and perfectionism have turned your mind into a battleground. Your inner critic nitpicks every interaction, leaving you exhausted by thoughts of “Damnit, why can’t I just be better!” Painful memories get louder, no matter how hard you try to ignore them. Daily invalidations of your Latina, queer, or immigrant identity sting, and you feel isolated as you keep your suffering to yourself. You’ve tried everything: doom scrolling, drinking, and self-help books, but nothing has worked. You're left feeling hopeless and weighed down.
There are some things in life that are too hard to face alone. If you or a loved one have experienced trauma, relationship struggles, stresses related to parenting or taking care of an aging parent, grief at the loss of a beloved member of your life, anxiety, depression, survivor or witness to abuse, or seeking tools for living with wellness. Please come and be welcome in a healing space.
I aim to empower you to be the expert about your child, while serving as a collaborative advocate throughout the treatment process to ensure quality of care and services. I provide a playful, creative, and supportive environment for youngsters of all ages. My goal is to ensure they feel heard, understood, and safe because the best foundation to progress in therapy is to maintain a comfortable and trusting relationship that helps them look forward to each session! With over 10 years of experience in child and adolescent therapy (ages 0-17), I help youth navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and neurodevelopmental challenges.
Are you a part of a community, in a relationship, a family, or a line of work that used to feel supportive but now feels costly? Do you feel like you are performing, on guard, or run down as a result? Do you feel unable to change because the stakes are so high? I understand and walk the complicated terrain of change with my clients. Many are men, gay men, and LGBTQ+ people seeking support in affirming their identity, navigating relationships, family systems, or religious environments, and those navigating career, family, and mid life, and cult survivors.
As a former minister turned psychotherapist I've walked through change myself. My practice is grounded in psychological and clinical insight. For some on a spiritual path this enhances therapy. Some are desiring to process religious trauma or limiting aspects of their religious or spiritual background with someone who can understand these environments.
I'm Rachel and I'm glad you're here. I work with adults and teens virtually throughout California and in-person in San Francisco. I specialize in complex trauma, attachment trauma, grief, relationship issues, anxiety, and self-worth. If you've talked and thought about your struggles enough and are ready to get to the root of what's happening, I'm here to support you in going deeper with work that addresses what lies beneath conscious awareness.
Hi, and welcome! I am Joy Nnebe, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am thrilled you’re considering working with me.
I have 8 years of experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing, and I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma, and more, using approaches like CBT therapy and trauma-informed care. I aim to provide simple, non-judgemental, supportive, and personalized care to help you feel understood and empowered on your mental health journey.
Hello, I'm Mindy. I'm a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 16 years of clinical experience. My path has included military service, community health work in rural Morocco, and care across many settings, from intensive care to hospice. These experiences shape how I show up: with warmth, curiosity, cultural humility, and respect for everyone's story. I treat the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
That means taking time to dig into your history, what has worked, what has not, and what you actually want from your care. Whether that is medication, therapy, or both, we figure it out together.
I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bipolar disorder, and life transitions including loss, chronic illness, major life changes, and times when you just cannot name what is wrong yet.
We all have moments in our lives when we may feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or simply in need of extra support in reaching a balanced life. I am here to work with you on overcoming some of life’s biggest challenges. My experience has been with a focus on improving your overall quality of life. Collaboratively, I work with my clients to help them heal from the effects of trauma, work through grief and loss, life transitions, depression, anxiety, parenting struggles or relationship issues. I also have experience in helping parents and children who are managing early childhood development or ADHD concerns.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adults navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. I have experience working in high-acuity settings, which helps me stay calm, grounded, and focused—even during stressful or overwhelming moments. I aim to create a space where you feel understood while also making meaningful progress.
I am dedicated to helping teens struggling with trauma and self-harm behavior. My experience working with Orange Unified School District, running groups from grade 6-12 for students struggling with emotional and behavioral problems has given me unique insight into not only helping teens, but also working with the families, schools, and community to provide more effective treatment. I have partnered with Western Youth Services in helping at risk teens and low income families in helping adolescents to overcome academic barriers and families cope with serious defiance and drug use.
My goal with therapy is to provide a safe and open space to process and prioritize a growth mindset. I tailor my therapeutic approach to best match the needs of the client and truly believe in promoting acceptance. Some modalities I have experience with and may incorporate into therapy are Acceptance Compassion Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Here-and-now Counseling, Trauma-Informed, and Holistic. I have a passion for working with individuals who are looking to unpack complex emotions and experiences that have shaped their understanding of the world.
