Clients should know that I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can show up as their authentic selves. I value building a genuine connection and work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
I often say “we” when talking to clients because I’ve lived through many of the circumstances they find themselves in . I know they need information to better understand what they are dealing with . Additionally , I believe they need empathy and patience as they move forward toward the best days of their lives .
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and commitment to your mental health journey. This may feel like a holistic and person-centered approach that explores bodily consciousness, emotional processing, belief systems, social supports, cultural upbringing, and past trauma. You can also expect to develop practical tools for managing stress and building resilience as well. Above all, therapy should leave you feeling empowered, capable, and heard. My goal is to foster a safe environment where you feel free to open up without fear of judgement and the accountability to progress towards your goals, both within and beyond our sessions.
Melissa Muggli, LPC, is prior service turned mental health professional. She served in the army as a combat medic from 2009-2012, with one tour in Iraq that led to her medical retirement. After her service, she worked as a medical assistant and psychiatric nurse assistant while attending university. She has an associate’s of health science, a bachelor’s of psychology focusing on addictions, a master’s of clinical mental health counseling and a master’s of addiction counseling. Melissa has been a practicing counselor since 2019 and is constantly pursuing higher education. She is a certified EAGALA provider.
I have been a counselor for 40 years, working with individuals, couples, families and groups with psychological as well as addiction issues. I have extensive experience in inpatient as well as outpatient settings. I am eclectic in my evaluation and treatment methods, which gives me flexibility to treat individual needs. Primarily, I use cognitive-behavioral techniques. Many of my clients suffer with depression, anger, and anxiety (panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder); all of which impact potential addictions. I also treat couples and families to better understand their dynamics and to improve their communication skills.
My background consists of psychological testing and understanding personalities. This has helped in my work with children, adolescents, & families. I enjoy working with gay and straight couples, to help them with empathy and communication. I do extensive cognitive work as well as teaching techniques with people suffering from anxiety, anger, and addictions.
I encourage self-awareness to stimulate one's potential. Understanding oneself is essential to reducing anxiety, depression & anger (and in improving relationships). I teach relaxation, meditation, & self-hypnosis techniques to improve personal balance. I guide couples and families to improve relationships through empathy, acceptance, and communication.
Choosing a therapist can feel like a daunting and vulnerable step, and I want to honor the courage it takes to begin. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults ages 25 to 85, bringing a long, richly lived life experience that allows me to meet you with steadiness, perspective, and compassion. My approach is grounded in unconditional positive regard—I believe you are worthy of respect and understanding exactly as you are. I can’t fix anyone, but I am very good at helping people heal themselves from the wounds life brings and to navigate the changes that shape us all.
I help people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives—on their terms. My work is rooted in real-life experience. I know what it’s like to explore different paths, question who you are, and search for something that truly fits. Before I could guide others, I had to do the work myself—gaining clarity, growth, and alignment with who I really am.
Hello, my name is Becky. I have my master's in clinical social work and am currently obtaining my hours for licensure as an addiction specialist. My job is to listen, guide, and support you as you navigate through healing and growth. If you're ready, I’m here to serve and celebrate with you through your journey.
I am currently accepting new clients. Do you ever feel unseen, unheard, or like you carried responsibilities no child should have had to? If that resonates, you are not alone. I work with adults and couples who grew up with an emotionally immature parent and still feel the effects on their relationships, self worth, and sense of self. Together we will explore these dynamics and how they shape your life today, and I will help you build the insight, confidence, and self trust to move forward. I also support people through anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, life transitions, and the relationship struggles that come with all of it.
My name is Teresa Hernandez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have 20+ years working with Mental Health and Substance Abuse challenges.
I love working with adults and youth ages 11-80. I have worked with many modalities such DBT, CBT, Anger Management, Crisis intervention, Suicide Prevention, and Substance Abuse. I've worked with clients from many walks of life and with varied needs.
I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Wyoming. Wyoming is my home state. It is filled with wildlife and the worst snow you can image. I moved to Colorado in 2010 to continue my quest for helping others. Many years ago, someone helped me and I having been giving back for more than 20+ years. Together, we will develop a comprehensive plan so that you can get the tools you need to help you reach your goals. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help and for that I appreciate you. Please contact me to see if we're a good fit.
We all deserve to have someone in our corner as we navigate life's ups and downs. I am passionate about supporting individuals through challenges and transitions, and celebrating progress. My background includes extensive work with adults facing a variety of systemic and personal obstacles, including those who have historically had less access to resources. I am committed to creating a welcoming, affirming space for all clients that acknowledges each individual's journey, with an intersectional and holistic approach. My priority is to ensure that you are seen, understood, and supported as you work toward your personal goals.
