I specialize in helping women who are struggling with overwhelming anxiety + stress, life transitions, infertility, perinatal loss and maternal mental health. Many of my clients are young adult and millennial women seeking support as they navigate relationship issues and family dynamics, build self-esteem and overcome various challenges in their life from breakups to motherhood.
After graduating with my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2015, I worked in both residential and outpatient settings providing individual, family, and group counseling to children, teens, and adults. Once I started my own private practice, I knew I wanted to specifically focus on creating a safe space for women to heal, grow and feel empowered.
I have taken extensive trainings in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International, Perinatal Loss and Grief as well as Healing Perinatal Trauma.
Whether you are looking to find new ways to cope with stress and anxiety, heal from infertility trauma, grieve a loss or navigate postpartum, you do not have to face these concerns alone. I would be honored to support you on a journey to mental health and wellness.

One of the most empowering factors in my life has been spending 32 years as an Air Force Military Spouse. This empowered me to grow and learn through lived experiences in diverse groups. I’ve been a clinical social worker and prior substance abuse counselor for 30+ years working in a public agency, private practice, and with the US Army at Fort Carson, Colorado and at SHAPE, Belgium. I work across all ages to include both adults and children. In addition to my MSW in clinical social worker, I have an advanced graduate degree in Infant and Early Childhood Special Education Leadership and a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Diversity Studies.
I discovered my mission when I realized how powerful and beautiful love is. I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University and proceeded to receive my Master's degree at the University of Central Florida in Marriage, Couples, and Family counseling. My mission is helping others to rediscover who they are and teach them to be secure within themselves so that they can be secure in the relationships they have with others.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Florida starts with getting clear on the type of support you need. Therapists across the state specialize in a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Some focus on specific approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while others take a more integrative approach. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their style and decide if they're a good match before you commit.
With more than 22 million residents spread across cities like Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida has a large and diverse provider network. Many therapists offer both in-person and virtual sessions, which can be especially helpful if you live in a rural area or prefer the flexibility of meeting from home. When comparing providers, consider what matters most to you — specialty, session format, availability, and location.
Therapy in Florida can be expensive out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
