I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Certified (LCSW-C) with extensive experience working in inpatient, group, individual, and couples therapy settings. My background has given me a deep understanding of how people heal both in crisis and in everyday life. I’m a licensed clinical therapist who has been practicing since 2021, with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My work centers on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem challenges, and relationship concerns. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach, integrating modalities like CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to support meaningful, lasting change. I strive to create a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore all parts of themselves, including identity, relationships, and personal growth. I have more than 50 years of experience in the mental health field, including leadership, consultation, and direct clinical practice. I hold Master’s Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Medical Cannabis Therapeutics, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson State University.
My career includes serving as the State Director for Co-Occurring Disorder Services with Maryland’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Mental Hygiene Administration. I also worked as a consultant and faculty member with the University of Maryland Department of Psychiatry, Evidence-Based Practices Center, helping agencies develop and implement person-centered recovery plans grounded in evidence-based practice.
