I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore life's challenges, gain insight, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change.
As a mental health therapist, I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and emotional overwhelm. I understand that each person's experiences are unique, so I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs, strengths, and goals.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, couples, and family systems. I serve individuals and families seeking practical tools and compassionate support to navigate mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.
I often help those working through partner betrayal, relational trauma, or severe mood and anxiety symptoms. Clients benefit from my psychodynamic approach which has been shown to be especially helpful for managing complex trauma and improving negative relationship patterns. I have extensive training diagnosing personality disorders, in addition to helping persons with severe depression, panic attacks, nonsuicidal self-injury, and OCD. Clients tell me they appreciate my calm, regulating presence as well as my nonjudgemental stance.
Hi, I'm Aimie. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My background is unique in that it combines traditional psychotherapy with years of behavioral training, allowing me to understand not only why people think and feel the way they do, but also how those patterns show up in everyday life.
Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with individuals with anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, perfectionism, and life transitions. I also have specialized training in couples therapy and have spent many years supporting children and families navigating neurodiversity.
I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation with someone who truly understands you. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.
