Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker, and have been a psychotherapist for over 20years. Yet, I'm probably not much different from you. Trying to navigate life's rough moments. Wishing and holding on to dreams and aspirations - feeling disappointed or defeated when they slip away or seem consistently out of reach. Universal human traits and needs may seem cliche, but I've come to discover that it is reflected in all of us. My experience as a therapist has helped many people gain fundamental insights into themselves and realize that we're not that much different [some just wear better masks!]. It has also helped me to recognize why it can be difficult to breakout of feeling perpetually stuck. Sometimes my clients mirror myself and it can be a humbling but meaningful experience. One of my strengths is humor -very underrated! I like to sprinkle that into my work when possible as it helps to balance the heaviness of life. I don't always hide behind my therapist role - I share my experiences to help build connection, to normalize, and highlight that no matter who you are, we're likely seeking something similar from and for ourselves.
As a clinical social worker, I have a diverse background and take a systems-informed approach to therapy. I've been working in mental health since 2021, specializing in working with those healing from trauma, exploring identity, and undergoing religious deconstruction. I am especially passionate about providing affirming care to queer folks.

People tend to seek me out because they are looking for someone who feels normal and approachable. Sure, I have a quirk or two, but people often describe talking with me as feeling like they are talking with an old friend who happens to know a lot of mental health specific things and who gives solid counsel and makes them feel valid in this crazy world.
I bring warmth, compassion, acceptance, and humor into the therapy space. My specialties are working with Adults who are facing challenges while having ADHD or difficulties with executive functioning. I believe effective mental health care starts with being heard. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), my goal for you is to provide a comprehensive evaluation that goes beyond symptom checklists—helping you understand what you're experiencing, why you're feeling the way you do, and what treatment options are available.
I work with clients of all ages facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, mood difficulties, chronic stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside while quietly feeling exhausted, avoidant, or trapped by patterns they can’t seem to change. If something in your life isn’t working, therapy can help.
My approach is relational, client-centered, and trauma-informed, with with particular expertise in contemplative and somatic practices that I am happy to share with my clients in sessions. I am known for being warm, direct and affirming. I am a rostered CPP clinician, and I also have training and experience in CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, Exposure Therapy, MBSR, Seeking Safety, MI, SFT, TF-CBT, MATCH, Art Therapy and IFS.
If you’re ready to step out of survival mode and into a more intentional way of living, I’d be glad to work with you.
