Many of my clients come to me carrying something they never thought they'd be able to share with anyone. They've often spent years feeling misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or like no one has ever quite seen them. They're adults navigating real barriers in their lives shaped by unprocessed trauma, neurocomplexity, the ongoing weight of chronic illness or pain, or identity-related experiences that haven't always felt safe to explore. Whatever brings someone to my door, I meet them where they are.
Hello,
It's a pleasure to meet you.
As a social worker I believe prioritizing mental health is key to an individual's ability to live a productive life. We all need support at some point in our lives, so thank you for taking the first step on the road to empowerment. I have provided individual and group therapy to adults for the past eight years.
Hello and welcome to my practice. I specialize in treating young adults who’ve experienced anxiety, trauma, and OCD. I’m level 1 trained in IFS and have extensive training in depth psychology.
I'm a licensed mental health counselor with formal training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and a background in crisis stabilization — which means I've worked with adults navigating some of the most intense emotional experiences imaginable, and I know that the hardest moments don't define where someone ends up. My style is direct and warm. I'm not the kind of therapist who nods a lot and says "how does that make you feel?" — I'll actually teach you skills, explain what's happening in your brain and body,
and work with you to figure out what gets in the way of the life you want. I also happen to believe that therapy doesn't have to be heavy all the time. Humor and humanity belong in the room too. I work with adults across New York via telehealth, and I accept Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, and Highmark plans.
Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience helping children, teens, couples, and families find healing and strength in the face of hardships and challenges that could destabilize any of us. I am easy-going, open-minded, and very direct and intentional with my help and support. I would happily accept the privilege of getting to know you and discovering positive ways forward, together. I have a diverse cultural and ethnic background and have always related well to others, enjoying more than anything else to be in service to anyone who needs a hand during a hard time. I am hopeful and positive, and I believe we can all change our circumstances with a little guidance.
I am a License Clinical Social Worker with four years of experience working with diverse populations. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and adjustment-related challenges.
I have been working in the mental health field for 21 years, 11 as a therapist. I studied at Fordham University for my Master degree and Mercy University for my bachelors degree. I enjoy using all modalities of treatment and have a certificate in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I've also done trauma focused studies and work as well. In my free time I love to be outside hiking with my two dogs. I have set a goal of hiking 365 miles for the year and 2025 was the 1st year we were able to accomplish that goal. I believe if your goal is important you keep trying until you reach it!
