Welcome,
As your counselor, I want to empower you to discover what motivates you. I’m deeply committed to helping individuals live more fulfilling and satisfying lives. I believe each person holds unique strengths, talents, and abilities as well as personal resiliency—my goal is to help you uncover these qualities so you can build a life of purpose and meaning.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating life transitions—whether you're experiencing a career shift, marriage or divorce, relocation, educational changes, parenting challenges, or grief and loss.
Together, we’ll work to find clarity, confidence, and joy on your journey through this thing we call life!
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and a Certified Co-occurring Disorders Specialist. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University. Over the past 17+ years, I’ve worked in a range of therapeutic settings, including family-based therapy, outpatient and intensive outpatient mental health and substance use programs, residential treatment, and private practice trauma therapy.
Outside the Office
I enjoy being active and being outdoors—walking, hiking, and and spending time with loved ones. I raise and train service dogs, attend dirt track races, meditate, and love cooking and baking. Family and friendship are at the heart of my life, and I find joy in making meaningful memories every step of the way.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but it does not have to be. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very first session. I am known for being down-to-earth, genuine, and easy to talk to. I have several years of experience providing family therapy and working with individuals facing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and flexible, allowing us to work together to identify goals and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where we work together to navigate life’s challenges and changes. With over 10 years of experience as a social worker, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through some of their most difficult moments, especially those impacted by cancer, illness, grief, and major life transitions. I’m committed to showing up with authenticity, care, and openness so you feel heard and respected. My goal is to create a safe, non‐judgmental space where you can explore your resilience and move toward meaningful change.
My greatest passion in life is helping others to live life to the fullest. For the last 11 years, it has been my privilege to do this in the counseling field. Whether it's helping people find freedom from eating disorders and addictions, the ravaging effects of trauma, or depression and anxiety, my goal is to help others step into the healthiest versions of themselves.
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, negative thoughts, unhealthy relationships or the inability to say NO! Are you tired of feeling like nothing will change or your stuck in life because you don't know what to do to make it better? I focus on adults using CBT, REBT, Person Centered and Motivational interviewing to assist clients in learning more about themselves and their perspective on life. I have experience working with many different mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, stress, marital/relationship issues and career struggles to name a few.

I am a board-certified Psychiatrist (medical doctor) providing virtual care throughout NY and PA. I taper medications. This means most of my patients want to safely reduce or ultimately stop taking psychiatric medications, and I guide them through that process safely and at their own pace. I include therapy in my 30-min follow up sessions, though do not offer weekly 1-hour therapy sessions. Many of my patients also work with a therapist.
I am an experienced therapist helping individual clients cope with addictions, trauma, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I also work with couples on common struggles such as conflict resolution, lack of connection, and reduced physical intimacy. I use evidence-based methods enabling clients to achieve their desired goals.
