My therapy style is warm, honest, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you build clarity, confidence, and tools that support your wellbeing both inside and outside the therapy room.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, sport-related stress, or a desire for deeper self-understanding, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental place to explore and grow.
My background includes clinical practice, college teaching, and working directly with youth, parents, and coaches to strengthen mental health, resilience, and relationships through evidence-based approaches.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LISW‐CP) with more than 16 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and high‐stress professionals. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in Individuals, Families, and Groups. I later completed a Play Therapist Training Program at Old Dominion University Norfolk, Virginia, and I am a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT‐S).
My career has been rooted in service, leadership, trauma informed care and crisis‐responsive care. Across these roles, I’ve provided therapy, crisis intervention, diagnostic assessments, supervision, and program oversight. I’ve supported individuals navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, burnout, family conflict, trauma histories, and major life transitions.
My background allows me to understand both the clinical and human sides of stress, trauma, and resilience.
I have over 10 years of experience in a wide variety of clinical settings since obtaining my Master's degree and becoming a licensed clinician. I use a client centered approach that draws from my training in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, and a trauma-informed approach. I have worked with people struggling with addictions, a wide variety of anxiety related difficulties, ADHD, depression, and some bodily focused repetitive behaviors. I also have experience working with couples to address relationship needs.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’re just getting through the day on autopilot? I work with children, teens, and adults who are moving through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, and the everyday stress that slowly piles up until something finally gives. Whether you’re in crisis or simply know something needs to change, therapy with me is a place to be honest, feel understood, and start building relief that actually lasts. I offer virtual therapy for clients located anywhere in South Carolina or Virginia, so you can join from home, work, or wherever you feel most comfortable.
