Hello! I'm Grace, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively within hospital-based Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). This experience has given me a deep understanding of the profound sense of helplessness and struggle one feels when caught in the middle of an intense emotional storm.
You have learned a lot about what works/doesn't work for you over the years, so let's work together and build on that. I have found that small changes in thoughts, attitudes, and actions can snowball into big differences for clients. I have experience in private practice, schools and inpatient mental health that I will gladly bring to the table to help you! My master's degree is in counseling education, and I have had my License as a Professional Counselor for 13 years. I have completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused therapy and many others and continue to expand my knowledge with trainings continuously. I have had the most experience in schools working with children dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder/Persistent Demand Avoidance. My work in private practice included anxiety, depression, divorce recovery work with AODA issues. I also have exposure to a wide variety of mental disorders from my time working in inpatient mental health. I seek to specialize mostly in anxiety and depression on this platform, but will keep an open mind to other issues that I might be able to help.
I come to therapy with a background in education and theater, which has deeply shaped how I connect with people and understand the human experience. My work is rooted in helping individuals better define who they are, where they want to be, and what may be standing in the way of getting there.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on curiosity, honesty, and growth. Together, we’ll identify obstacles, explore patterns, and engage with challenges in a meaningful way until we find solutions that truly work for you. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or out of balance in your life or relationships? Maybe anxiety, depression, stress, or the demands of daily life have started to feel heavier than they once did. Whether you are navigating personal challenges, relationship difficulties, parenting stress, or emotional exhaustion, therapy can offer a space to slow down, feel supported, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My passion is helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I take a holistic, compassionate approach to therapy while drawing from evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe progress is not one-size-fits-all, and I work to create a therapeutic experience that is thoughtful, flexible, and responsive to the individual sitting in front of me.
I enjoy working with adults, couples, families, children, and adolescents across a range of concerns. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and build the tools needed to navigate life more effectively.
I am a licensed mental health therapist with a background in social work. I have a master's in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. I have experience working in outpatient therapy and medical settings, which has shaped my grounded and integrative approach to care. I work with adults and children navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, professional stress, grief, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. I also support individuals experiencing self-doubt, boundary concerns, emotional overwhelm, and relational dynamics that leave them feeling unseen or unheard.
Taking the step to seek support isn’t easy, and I want to honor the courage it takes to be here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Life Coach, and retired Army veteran who believes caring for your mental health is essential to living a balanced, fulfilling life. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves. I work with teens and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or major life transitions, and I strive to meet you with respect, compassion, and understanding.
I’m a licensed psychologist with more than three decades of experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and trauma-informed care. My background includes extensive work with adults, adolescents, and children across private practice, medical settings, and the VA’s PTSD clinic, where I provided both treatment and disability evaluations. I completed my doctorate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in an APA-approved Counseling Psychology program and an APA-accredited internship with broad training in assessment, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I specialize in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, dissociation, family-of-origin issues, and helping people untangle long-standing patterns that keep them stuck. My style is warm, open-minded, and direct, meeting people right where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.
I believe prioritizing mental health is an important part of creating a balanced and fulfilling life, and I know reaching out for support is often one of the hardest steps to take. Since beginning my practice in 2021, I have worked primarily with adults navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward healing, self understanding, and meaningful growth.
