Do you feel emotional, exhausted, overwhelmed, frustrated, lost by different but relatable problems, trying to live up to someone else’s standards, getting through the day, answering call, emails, texts, the thought of there is no light at the end of the tunnel? Do you question, wonder or hope that life could be better? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or uncertain about the overall struggle you are focusing on where it be a difficult relationship, working through a loss, finding your place in life or moving past assault.
Clients often describe me as open-minded, empowering, and easy to talk to. I believe healing happens when you feel safe, accepted, and not alone, and that’s the kind of environment we’ll build together.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. My undergraduate B.A and graduate M.A. training took place at Wheaton College. Following graduate school in the midwest, I moved to the west coast, where I attended the California School of Professional Psychology. Here, I earned a M.A in applied psychology and Psy. D. in clinical psychology with a dual emphasis in forensics and family therapy. My research consisted of working with high risk sexual offenders. Following my time on the west coast, I worked as a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor at a local university. In my free time, I train in combat arts and play guitar (try at least ;-).
