I’m Jason, a bilingual Spanish/English therapist who loves helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I take an active, authentic approach—clients often describe me as warm, relatable, and safe, yet willing to challenge you in ways that foster real insight and growth.
I am a graduate of Arkansas Tech University and completed the Rehabilitation Counseling program through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to obtain my Master's degree. I have worked in several positions that have allowed me to gain experience in helping those who suffer from drug addiction, mental illness, abuse survivors, and so much more. A few of the facilities I have worked with include Freedom House, Birchtree Communities, Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient, and RPI (Real Practices Inc) all in the Russellville area. My biggest take-away from my experiences is that each person is different and there cannot be a "one-size fits all" when it comes to therapy and treatment. I enjoy getting to know a person as an individual and learning what that person needs in order to improve and be their best self.
Many of the people I work with are intelligent, capable, and doing their best to keep up with the demands of daily life, yet internally they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, struggling to stay organized, starting tasks but having difficulty finishing them, or feeling frustrated that things seem harder for you than they do for others. Perhaps your mind rarely slows down, your to-do list feels impossible to tackle, or you're carrying anxiety, stress, or depression that leaves you feeling drained and disconnected from the life you want to be living. Therapy can be a place to better understand what's getting in the way and develop strategies that actually work for you.
Welcome and congratulations on taking this step! I work with individuals who struggle with self-image, anxiety, depression, and self-motivation. I have been practicing for over 8 years. I will work with you to find your strengths and aid in building with you from there.
My commitment to you is simple: I will listen carefully, communicate openly, and act with integrity in every interaction. I’ll take the time to understand your unique goals, challenges, and values, and I’ll tailor my approach to meet your needs rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions. You can expect transparency from me at every step. I’ll explain not only what I recommend, but why I recommend it, so you always feel informed and empowered to make decisions.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or trying to manage the effects of past trauma while also navigating relationships or family challenges. It can feel exhausting trying to handle everything on your own.
I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, trauma, and relationship stress, helping you feel more supported, understood, and able to move forward with confidence.
Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying more than you can manage on your own while trying to balance work, relationships, family, and daily responsibilities. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, or emotional challenges that leave you feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Over time, that pressure can show up as chronic worry, burnout, grief, sadness, anger, emotional overwhelm, or a growing sense of disconnection from yourself and others. I specialize in anxiety, depression, family issues, stress management, and trauma. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors, and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 12 years of experience, my goal is to create a supportive space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and meaningful change.

Headway helps you stay on track with expert-guided support for ADHD — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist or psychiatrist for ADHD in Little Rock starts with understanding the type of care you need. A therapist — such as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), or psychologist — can help you build strategies for managing focus, impulsivity, and day-to-day structure. If you're also exploring additional treatment options, a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner can help you discuss what may be appropriate for your situation. Some people choose to work with more than one type of provider, depending on their needs and after consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
With providers practicing across the Little Rock metro — from Midtown and the Heights to Chenal Valley and beyond — narrowing your options can take time. Consider what matters most: a provider who works with adults, children, or both; someone experienced with ADHD specifically; and whether you prefer in-person or virtual sessions. Reading a provider's bio can give you a sense of their style and approach before you commit.
Therapy in Little Rock can be expensive without insurance, but affordable options exist when you use in-network coverage. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before booking, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find an ADHD provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
