Do you feel lost and broken? Does life seem hopeless right now? It’s not. Your trauma and pain can actually be an essential part of transforming your life. I’m Kenneth Chinchilla, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals develop emotional resilience, confidence, and lasting well-being. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and mood disorders through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach. I believe in treating the whole person—mind and body—and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My aim is to help you find clarity, strength, and meaningful progress on your mental health journey.
My commitment to you is simple: I will listen carefully, communicate openly, and act with integrity in every interaction. I’ll take the time to understand your unique goals, challenges, and values, and I’ll tailor my approach to meet your needs rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions. You can expect transparency from me at every step. I’ll explain not only what I recommend, but why I recommend it, so you always feel informed and empowered to make decisions.
Hi. I'm Susan (Simmons) Martinelli and, simply stated, "I love people"...every individual one. I have over 30 years' experience in the mental health field with people who may also suffer with substance use and addiction or vice versa. The two often go hand-in-hand and it can be a devastating and life-changing moment to realize you possibly have either a mental illness and/ or a substance/ alcohol use problem. I simply want to help you find your healthy path...whatever that is for you. I look forward to learning about you as a person and what we can accomplish together.
I have over 15 years of experience within the mental health field. I hold a PhD in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Education and Supervision. I am also a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in AR. I am also a Principal Investigator on many clinical trials for various companies.
I work to get to know my client's, to understand where they are coming from, and to provide feedback with a goal to promote healing and positive change. I draw on my 37 years of work in this counseling, and multiple levels of education.
Welcome and congratulations on taking this step! I work with individuals who struggle with self-image, anxiety, depression, and self-motivation. I have been practicing for over 8 years. I will work with you to find your strengths and aid in building with you from there.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Little Rock starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Whether you need support with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, or something else, look for a licensed provider — such as an LPC, LCSW, psychologist, or psychiatrist — who has experience with your specific concerns. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their approach and decide if they're a good match before you commit.
With hundreds of mental health providers practicing across the Little Rock metro area, narrowing your options can take time. Consider what matters most to you: a provider who specializes in a specific area, someone who offers virtual sessions, or a practice close to your neighborhood in Pulaski Heights, Chenal Valley, or North Little Rock. A free phone consultation can also help you decide if a provider feels like the right fit.
Therapy in Little Rock can be expensive without insurance. Using your in-network benefits is one of the most reliable ways to lower your out-of-pocket costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit.
