Greetings!
I’m excited to welcome you to work with me. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience working with individuals who chose to focus on themselves in a holistic manner. I believe our minds, bodies and souls heal best when we address them jointly.
You already have what you need to create the life you want—I’m here to help you uncover and strengthen it. I work with you to identify your strengths, build motivation, and navigate challenges in a supportive, non-judgmental space. I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma, substance use, and domestic violence. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I provide affirming care and am committed to ongoing growth as an ally to the BIPOC community. If you’re ready to feel more supported and take meaningful steps toward change, I invite you to reach out and see if we’re a good fit.
Everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. As a licensed mental health therapist, I’m dedicated to creating that space for my clients, fostering a journey of healing and transformation.
Originally from the Midwest, I found my heart and home in Florida when I moved here for school in 2014. The sunshine, warm community, and opportunities to grow professionally made me stay! When I’m not working, I love spending time with friends and family—movie nights, game nights, and afternoons at the park with my nephew are some of my favorite ways to recharge and stay connected.
With over five years of experience, I’ve worked closely with children, adolescents, young adults, and families to address a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, PTSD, grief, sexual trauma, childhood trauma, self-esteem struggles, bullying, and LGBTQ+ issues. I also have experience supporting individuals with autism, antisocial personality disorder, and schizophrenia.
I am a bilingual (English/Japanese) licensed mental health counselor and have over 10 years of experience helping people unpack old unwanted patterns while building a more empowered mind. I had the privilege to work extensively with active duty Marines and Sailors and their family members in the last six years. Now I am ready to work with clients utilizing the knowledge and skills I acquired through serving people who served our country facing life and various emotional challenges.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Florida starts with getting clear on the type of support you need. Therapists across the state specialize in a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Some focus on specific approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while others take a more integrative approach. Reading a provider's bio can help you understand their style and decide if they're a good match before you commit.
With more than 22 million residents spread across cities like Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida has a large and diverse provider network. Many therapists offer both in-person and virtual sessions, which can be especially helpful if you live in a rural area or prefer the flexibility of meeting from home. When comparing providers, consider what matters most to you — specialty, session format, availability, and location.
Therapy in Florida can be expensive out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a provider who fits both your clinical needs and your budget.
