Idaho families can access compassionate mental health support through Headway's network of 113 providers specializing in family dynamics, communication, and relational healing. Sessions are available as soon as next day with insurance coverage and copays starting as low as $0.
My experience is centered on collaborating with youth, adults, and families. During these developing years and shifting dynamics, additional care for our health is needed. I work with emotional regulation, relational rifts, enhancing communication, and acceptance of self.
With attachment focused therapy as my base, I utilize mindfulness and experiential approaches in our work together. Our conversations and therapeutic activities are guided by your experience and goals.
Are you struggling with anxiety, relationship, or addiction issues? I specialize in all three of those. With my 20 years of experience I can help you get the change and relief you are looking for. Most of my clients start to feel better within a couple of sessions. Therapy can be short or long term and I will work with you on a plan that works best for you and your needs. Some of my other experience includes, depression, mood disorders, couples/family issues, major life changes, grief, divorce, domestic violence, parenting, trauma, and adjustments to adult children.
Hi, I’m Elaine! I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with adults, couples, and military families navigating life’s ups and downs. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and a Masters of Science in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling with an addendum of Crisis and Trauma Counseling.
Many of my clients come to me struggling with relationship challenges (like communication struggles, Parenting conflicts and infidelity), trauma, PTSD, anxiety, or depression—feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and equipped to create the changes you want in your life
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals, families, and groups across a range of mental health and substance use settings. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University and have an associate's degree in Addiction Counseling Education. I specialize in treating substance use and co-occurring disorders, trauma, grief, and a variety of mental health concerns using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices. While my clinical foundation started in substance use disorder treatment, my clinical work spans behavioral health, including adult and adolescent counseling, relationship counseling, crisis intervention, and long-term therapeutic care.
