Hello! My name is Ty Martin and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri since 2010. In addition to Missouri, I am also licensed in the states of Washington, Iowa, and Nevada. I aspire to get licensed in other states so I can provide services to those in need.
My theoretical orientation is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT) as there are a variety of interventions to choose from that are evidenced based. I specialize in Trauma Informed CBT, e.g. TF CBT for children 3-18 and Cognitive Processing Therapy for ages 14-Adulthood. However, I have had the opportunity to serve people with use of Strength Based Approaches, Non directive therapy, e.g. Client Centered Approaches and Directive therapy approaches, Skills Building and Structured Problem Solving, amongst many other interventions.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Master of Social Work from Indiana University. With over 10 years of experience, I support individuals in managing anxiety, navigating depression, and healing from past trauma.
My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a spiritually grounded perspective. While therapy is rooted in clinical skill, I also create space for deeper connection—often integrating spiritual awareness into the work for those who are open to it.
