Hey! You’re seeking help because it is needed. That’s huge! Many people don’t seek treatment or therapy but you’re already on this path. Some folks don’t find the path. You’ve got some idea of what you need and are ready for someone to be along with you on this journey. We both know humans succeed in a team not so much when we are alone. First, give yourself credit because it takes a lot of courage to not do things alone and to be willing to open up to someone you do not know. Your courage is where our journey together starts. It would be an honor to be a part of your team in life, for life!
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with individual adults. I support clients navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, relationship patterns, identity, and life transitions. My work is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in the belief that therapy can help you better understand yourself, strengthen self-trust, and the clinical belief that any person can change course in life at any time.
I draw from approaches such as EFT, IFS, ACT, and integrative experiential techniques, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll explore emotions, patterns, and strategies that help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to yourself and the relationships that matter most.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by life or weighed down by past experiences? Whatever you’ve been through, you don’t have to face it alone. I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) with more than twenty years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work and have had the privilege of working with clients across the lifespan throughout my career. The first half of my career was dedicated to supporting children and families. For the past nine years, I have specialized in working with veteran's diagnosed with PTSD. My areas of expertise include PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief/loss.
I am a Master’s-level Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds across a wide range of settings, including a children’s psychiatric hospital and a maximum-security state prison. My work has focused on assessment, treatment planning, and connecting clients with the care that best fits their needs, while also providing therapy through a variety of trauma-informed approaches.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I view individuals within the context of the larger relationships, systems, and environments that shape their lives. I understand that challenges such as anger, fear, sadness, and overwhelming thoughts or emotions can deeply affect a person’s ability to function and feel at peace. My goal is to help clients better understand their experiences, build on their strengths, and regain the ability to thrive in their environment. I am open to working with adolescents ages 13 and older.
