Many people reach out for counseling when life feels heavier than usual—when relationships are strained, emotions feel harder to manage, or when they feel overwhelmed with grief. for more than a decade, I have been helping families and individuals of all ages to cope, process and navigate around these issues. My goal is to offer a space where you do not have to hold all of that alone.
Hi, I’m Reilly, a Licensed Master Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Therapy Unboxed.
I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move through life with greater clarity.
Therapy offers space to slow down, understand the patterns shaping your experiences, and begin making meaningful changes.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Michigan and am currently completing advanced training in couples and sex therapy through Sexual Health Alliance.
Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me volunteering at a local animal shelter, binge-watching Law & Order, or spending time with my dog, Stevie.
Hello! I am truly glad that you are here.
Meeting my clients where they are allows for true healing and understanding. I believe that you are the expert in your own story. Are you hoping to find a healthier and safer way to approach life's stressors and challenges, while exploring different ways to enhance your thinking and feelings?
As you navigate through your life journey of healing, I wish to build a collaborative relationship with you along the way. I believe that I am just the person to support you and help you achieve your goals. I am a licensed therapist in Michigan with over 10 years of professional work experience. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University. I have experience helping clients with relationship issues, trauma, anger management, lack of motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
"I believe the problem is not the person." I've worked in the Human Services area for 25 years before retiring. I made the decision to go into private practice because I really enjoy helping people. I've worked with several populations including, women, formerly incarcerated individuals, developmentally disabled, elderly, single parents with children and persons dually diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders. I've facilitated groups and worked with individuals.
I provide counseling for individuals and families who are facing many forms of conflict including addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and significant life transitions. I understand that seeking support often comes at a time when life feels overwhelming or uncertain, and my priority is to offer a compassionate, steady place to work through these challenges. Together we take the time you need to explore what brought you here and what you're hoping to change. Your goals - whether they involve healing from loss, breaking patterns related to addiction, or navigating a difficult transition - will guide the direction of our sessions.
