As a fully licensed mental health therapist, I believe self-awareness and meaningful connections are essential to finding happiness and stability in life. Taking the first step to seek support can be challenging, so congratulations on reaching out! I’ve been practicing since 2020 and, at the end of 2024, I decided to start my own private practice. I primarily work with individuals (ages 12 and older) who find themselves struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or other life adjustment challenges.
I approach therapy with respect, curiosity, and a bit of humor. I offer trauma-informed care which has led me to work with people who have gone through hard times and survived. I earned my master’s degree from Michigan State University and have stayed in the East Lansing area since then, working in local residential treatment facilities for teens and in an outpatient intensive treatment program with adults. I have spent the last 15 years working with adults in crisis, whether that is temporary situations like relationship issues or more chronic conditions.
Maybe you're the one everyone relies on. The helper, the overthinker, the people-pleaser, the perfectionist, or the one who always seems to have it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, fertility and infertility challenges, postpartum transitions, relationship concerns, and major life changes. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out.
I’m a Licensed Social Worker with a deep commitment to helping individuals heal from trauma, navigate grief, and find safety and strength within themselves. My clinical focus is on trauma recovery, including PTSD and complex PTSD, as well as those experiencing loss and grief (both loss of a loved one and also disenfranchised grief).
Over the years, I’ve pursued extensive training in trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and grief processing.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma. I also find gratitude to helping others navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, communication, relationship issues, and family issues. I am EMDR trained.
If you are someone struggling with the above, or you are looking to manage stress in other areas of your life I am here to help!
Welcome! I'm Trisha. I've worked as a therapist and non-profit leader for nearly 30 years. I have experience in clinical work and child welfare. I strongly believe that you can't pour from an empty cup. Many of us don't care for ourselves as well as we do those around us. You've taken the biggest step already by seeking support. My goal is to walk alongside you in your journey to being the best version of you.
I have over 10 years of helping people reach their goals. My past history includes case management, therapy and administration. My love is working with others to help them find peace.
I specialize in providing trauma focused therapy solutions for people of all ages. I've been working with children, individuals and families who have experienced abuse, neglect, loss and complex trauma for over a decade. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where I graduated with honors. My relationship with my clients is built on the four pillars of healing: safety, trust, support and hope.
I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace while building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I provide telehealth therapy for adults throughout Michigan, Massachusetts, and Illinois.
