Hello! I’m Robyn, and I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but you’ve found a safe, welcoming space to begin your journey. Whether you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or weighed down by life’s challenges, I’m here to support you with compassion, creativity, and a personalized approach to healing. This is a safe, affirming space. In today’s world, many of us are feeling the effects of an unpredictable political climate, economic instability, and ongoing societal change. These pressures can lead to stress, anxiety, burnout, and a sense of disconnection. Reaching out for help is a powerful act of self-care and resilience.
Sometimes it feels like you're carrying more than anyone else realizes. Anxiety, depression, painful experiences, parenting responsibilities, cultural expectations, or major life changes can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted and unsure of how to move forward. You may be taking care of everyone else while struggling to care for yourself. You don't have to keep doing it alone. I partner with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress management, panic disorder, cultural and ethnic issues, and trauma so they can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create a greater sense of balance and confidence in their everyday lives. Working with adolescents, adults, and families, I strive to create a compassionate, culturally responsive environment where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the joy of working with wonderful, diverse communities—from LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC individuals to those navigating mental illness, homelessness, and co-occurring challenges. As a child of immigrants myself, I truly understand the cultural barriers around mental health. I’m here to help break down those walls and create a warm, safe space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.

Headway makes it easier to connect with affirming therapists who understand your identity — from finding the right therapist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding LGBTQIA+ therapists in Saint Paul starts with identifying someone who offers identity-affirming care. Look for therapists who have experience supporting LGBTQIA+ people with identity exploration, gender-related concerns, relationship stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. A therapist may mention affirmative therapy, WPATH training, gender-diverse experience, or work with queer and trans communities in their profile. These details can help you find care that fits your needs, preferences, and lived experience.
Saint Paul has a strong mental health care community, and a good fit may be nearby, across the Twin Cities, or available virtually. Virtual therapy can expand your options if you want a therapist with specific LGBTQIA+ experience, a certain background, or appointment times that work with your schedule. As you compare therapists, look at whether they are accepting new clients, how soon they have availability, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading bios closely can show how a therapist describes their approach, communication style, and experience with LGBTQIA+ clients.
Therapy in Saint Paul can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway helps you search for therapists who match your preferences, accept your insurance, and offer clear scheduling options. You can review profiles, see estimated costs after entering your insurance details, and book directly when you’re ready.
