My name is Lari Smith, and I’ve spent nearly 15 years helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I hold multiple graduate‐level degrees, including a Master of Science in Human Resources (2006), a Master’s Certificate in Addiction Counseling (2016), and a Master of Science in Psychological Services (2017). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma and am currently under supervision for my LADC.
Before entering private practice, I worked for the Department of Human Services and later served as a school counselor in rural K–8 schools. These experiences deepened my passion for supporting children, families, and individuals facing complex or overwhelming life circumstances. Today, I work with clients of all ages and have a special appreciation for both children and older adults.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, but I frequently draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have experience treating a wide range of concerns, including adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, child sexual abuse, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and other mental health challenges. I also bring personal insight into chronic pain after experiencing a serious car accident in 2017 that resulted in multiple broken bones.
I currently practice in a rural Oklahoma community and am accepting new clients. I offer virtual sessions and accept insurance, with a full list available through Headway.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I’ve been married for 28 years and have three adult children. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my four‐month‐old granddaughter—and I love baking.
If you’d like to explore whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free consultation. I’d be honored to support you on your journey—reach out today and let’s get started.
As a seasoned therapist of 20 years, my experience has allowed me to work in various facets of mental health, including home-based therapy, residential care, school, inpatient and an outpatient clinic setting. I have treated all ages, from little ones to geriatric adults. For over the past decade, my treatment focus has been working with marginalized communities dealing with significant trauma and chronic health issues. I believe there is no problem that is too big or too insignificant, that therapy can’t help.
Hi, I'm Erin! I'm a licensed therapist and I specialize in women with OCD, anxiety, and/or trauma. I graduated from Mid-America Christian University with a Masters degree in counseling in 2019 and have almost a decade of counseling experience.
I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 3 years, and I specialize in family systems, child play therapy. I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
I value creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. My approach is grounded in empathy and curiosity, exploring how personal history and lived experiences shape both conscious and unconscious patterns that influence present-day behavior, relationships, and emotional well-being. I enjoy helping clients gain deeper insight into themselves while supporting growth, healing, and lasting change. I am a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, where I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.
It seems like life should be better than this - I have heard some version of this sentence from every client, couple, or family for more than two decades of counseling. They believe that life and relationships should function better and are trying to figure out how. The clients I have seen are struggling with relational dysfunction, anxiety, depression, grief, or the residue of trauma. Many of them feel lonely, confused, and hopeless about one or several issues within their story. Many of the stories are very hard and painful. Understandably, they all want to find a better way to live their lives and change the story.
I have studied far beyond the minimum so that I can genuinely help people create transformation in their lives and relationships. I don't just help them feel better today, but I give them systems that can work for a lifetime. Life can be better, as hundreds of former clients can confirm. I help people design a transformed life.
I recognize that for many, fundamental transformation feels inaccessible and unrealistic. Many of the clients that I have helped in the past thought the same thing. They now have a new story to tell themselves and others. Let's design your life transformation together.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Hola, me alegro estás aquí. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma who works with individuals and families navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance use, and family-related challenges.
If life feels overwhelming, relationships feel strained, or past experiences are still affecting your present, you don’t have to carry that alone. I offer a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to better understand what’s going on and create meaningful change.
My goal is to help you feel safer, stronger, and more in control of your life moving forward.
I have degrees in nursing, public affairs and environmental management, and social work. It is an interesting combination because I have more lenses than just one to view a client's issues. For example, I can understand the health conditions from a medical perspective, any toxicology issues from the environmental perspective such as workplace exposure to volatile organic compounds, and the social work perspective of mental health, social functioning, and community resources. I have worked with depression, adults molested as children, porn addiction, adoption issues, anxiety, life transitions, grief, PTSD, and more. I have done psychotherapy as a licensed clinician since 2002. Prior to that I had experience in mental health as a nurse.
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples through challenging times. I would love to walk with you on your journey and will meet you where you’re at with compassion and empathy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma and hold a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health.
