I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief, as well as those impacted by incarceration and major life transitions.I am especially passionate about helping clients build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and develop coping skills that support long-term emotional wellness. I believe therapy should feel practical, affirming, and tailored to each individual's needs.
Hi, I’m Jamie Harrison, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with individuals ages 6 to 99, as well as couples and families, who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward but are ready for something to change.
You might be experiencing anxiety, depression, overthinking, emotional ups and downs, relationship stress, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Sometimes it’s not just one issue it’s a combination of life transitions, stress, or patterns that feel difficult to break.
When working with children and adolescents, I focus on helping them build tools to manage anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, anger, impulsive behaviors, and life changes in ways that feel supportive and age-appropriate.
With adults, I support clients in navigating life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, negative thinking patterns, self-esteem struggles, and challenges with connection helping them develop practical skills to feel more grounded and in control.
When working with couples and families, I help improve communication, strengthen connection, and navigate conflict, life changes, and transitions in healthier, more effective ways.
In our work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I take a compassionate and practical approach, helping you not only process what you’re going through, but also build tools you can use in your everyday life.
I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and therapy with me is collaborative—we move at your pace, focus on what matters most to you, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I’m a therapist who wants you to feel more at home in your life and emotions. I know reaching out can feel scary, especially when life feels uncertain or suddenly different, so I focus on creating a space that feels calm, safe, and truly supportive. I speak English and Spanish, and I deeply respect each person’s story, culture, and values as we work together.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and grounded space from the beginning. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in complex and developmental trauma.
I support clients in integrating their spiritual and cultural values into therapy when desired and clinically appropriate. I was born in New Orleans and bring a culturally informed perspective shaped by my Latina, Indigenous, Christian, and Sephardic Jewish backgrounds.
I became a therapist because I have a deep commitment to helping people recognize and build their own strengths, especially during periods of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I understand that seeking support takes courage, and I work to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.
I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana and Texas, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I also hold a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Prevention Professional (LPP), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
I am a doctoral-prepared nurse (DNP) and a dual-certified nurse practitioner (FNP-C/PMHNP-BC) with more than twenty years of nursing experience. I am great at combining my clinical skills with a holistic approach to patient care, with a goal of helping you feel understood and empowered. I am committed to improving patient outcomes through clear communication and care planning and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
Great to meet you
If you’re struggling with anxiety, overthinking, trauma, or relationship stress, you’re not alone. Many people face these challenges, and support is available to help you feel understood and less isolated.
I work with adults and adolescents who feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Many of my clients deal with high anxiety, racing thoughts, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Still, therapy can help you find hope and a way forward, even if it looks like you have everything together on the outside.
If you’re constantly overanalyzing, feeling on edge, or carrying the weight of past experiences, therapy can help you slow things down and regain control, empowering you to manage your thoughts and feelings more effectively.
My practice started out of a deep desire to help heal trauma passed down through generations. As a child of two trauma survivors myself, I know that these wounds can begin in childhood and follow us well into our adult lives. My goal is to work together to notice and intervene in harmful patterns that keep us trapped in cycles of pain and heartbreak.
Hi there! Let's slow down, take a breath and know you are Loved! I am here to walk this journey with you! I have over 20 years of experience helping teens, adults and families in crisis. Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a bilingual therapist, and I feel most authentic when I can move naturally between both languages. I’m a Texan through and through, with plenty of Tex Mex Spanglish to show for it. I connect deeply with clients who are navigating family issues, generational trauma, cultural expectations, and the process of outgrowing beliefs or roles they were taught as children. I enjoy helping clients understand themselves better by exploring attachment patterns, nervous system responses, relationships, and the gap between who they were raised to be and who they are becoming. I have a heart for working with families, children, and parents because I believe it is easier to help children build healthier coping skills early than to wait until they are struggling later in life. I also find deep meaning in working with adults who are healing their inner child, breaking cycles, and learning how to live in a way that feels more honest and whole. My work often supports clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, parenting concerns, and life transitions.
