Virginia residents can connect with 3,054 vetted mental health providers through Headway's platform. Whether you're in Richmond, Arlington, or anywhere in between, receive compassionate care with sessions starting as soon as tomorrow.
I'm here to offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore your inner world, address challenges, and begin the process of profound healing and growth.
To support our work together, I have pursued specialized training in several transformative approaches:
• Internal Family Systems (IFS- informed): This powerful, evidence-based model views the mind as a system of "parts" (e.g., a critical part, a vulnerable part, a protective part). IFS helps you develop a compassionate, curious relationship with these different facets of yourself, leading to greater internal harmony and wholeness.

I am certified in EMDR, which is the gold standard treatment for trauma.
I provide evidence-based therapy with a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment difficulties, helping clients develop practical coping skills, improve insight, and create meaningful behavioral change.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Virginia starts with getting clear on what you need. Whether you're looking for help with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or another challenge, choosing a licensed provider who specializes in your area of concern can make a meaningful difference. Virginia-licensed therapists include LPCs, LCSWs, psychologists, and psychiatrists, each with different training and approaches.
With providers spread across Northern Virginia, Richmond, Hampton Roads, and beyond, practical factors matter too. Think about whether you prefer in-person sessions close to home or the flexibility of virtual appointments. Many therapists in Virginia offer both. Reading a provider's bio before booking can help you understand their style, background, and areas of focus so you feel more confident going in.
Therapy in Virginia can be expensive out of pocket, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to lower costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance information to see an estimated session cost before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and your out-of-pocket cost may be as low as $0 per session depending on your specific plan and location.
