Whether grieving a parent, partner, or sibling, Little Rock residents can access meaningful grief therapy through Headway. Our providers use evidence-based approaches to help you navigate bereavement, anticipatory grief, and complicated grief with compassion and support.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or trying to manage the effects of past trauma while also navigating relationships or family challenges. It can feel exhausting trying to handle everything on your own.
I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, trauma, and relationship stress, helping you feel more supported, understood, and able to move forward with confidence.
Life can feel overwhelming when stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or difficult life circumstances begin affecting how you see yourself and the world around you. You may find yourself stuck in negative thought patterns, struggling to move past painful experiences, or feeling frustrated by behaviors and reactions that no longer serve you. Therapy can provide an opportunity to gain clarity, develop healthier perspectives, and create meaningful changes that support long term emotional well being.
I am a graduate of Arkansas Tech University and completed the Rehabilitation Counseling program through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to obtain my Master's degree. I have worked in several positions that have allowed me to gain experience in helping those who suffer from drug addiction, mental illness, abuse survivors, and so much more. A few of the facilities I have worked with include Freedom House, Birchtree Communities, Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient, and RPI (Real Practices Inc) all in the Russellville area. My biggest take-away from my experiences is that each person is different and there cannot be a "one-size fits all" when it comes to therapy and treatment. I enjoy getting to know a person as an individual and learning what that person needs in order to improve and be their best self.
I believe in empowering people to take charge of their own present and future lives. Generally, when you seek therapy, you are overwhelmed and ready to change. I believe you have it within yourself to make sense of your life, focus on creating the life you desire, and feel in control. I use strength and solution-based, client -centered psychotherapy. I am nonjudgmental, compassionate, and have a sense of humor. Regardless of the weight of therapy, we will also laugh!

When life gives you lemons...
My education gave me the tools to be a skilled clinician. But it was my own trauma that gave me the insight and depth I bring to this work. I know what it feels like to live in a body that doesn’t feel safe—to question everything, including yourself. I spent over a decade learning how to heal, reclaim my voice, and become the kind of guide I once needed.
In the midst of that long journey, I had a quiet moment of clarity: what I was going through wasn’t just about survival—it was about becoming someone who could walk with others through the dark. That experience grounds my work in both knowledge and deep compassion.
Learning to love the desert
I’ve come to believe that being lost isn’t a problem—it’s part of the path. Like La Loba, the mythical bone-gatherer who wanders the desert collecting what’s been buried and brings it back to life, I help others gather what they’ve lost along the way. That process is sacred, slow, and often surprising—but it’s how we come home to ourselves.
There are parts of you that haven’t died; they’ve just been waiting. And sometimes, when it all falls apart, that’s when the wild, wise parts of you rise again.

Headway makes it easy to find a therapist who can support you through loss — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
